I guess it's frustration with the team , and the fact that you think you can say anything you want because your not face to face with a person ,but the rudeness and lack of respect for people on this forum is very surprising to me lately.

I don't see any reason for personal attacks or to slam someone for their opinion.

I feel if you disagree with someone there are ways of having a civil discussion without berating him, and on the other hand, just ignore the thread if you don't like whats being said.

Amazing,:(

Sadly, I agree with you. It seems that nothing negative toward the Cowboys can be said and must agree with majority, otherwise, you'll get run over by pack of sheeps.

People needs to realize that differences of opinion is good for discussions and opinions aren't wrong, just different than your (in general) opinion. If we all agree on an issue, there is no debate and would have nothing to talk about.

I was under impression that personal attack is against the board policy but I guess I'm wrong because lot of threads contain personal attacks, name calling, and flames.

Welcome to message board discussions.

the real problem is that most of those trying for saracasm wouldn't know the real thing from a bucket of warm spit.
Also they are under the impression that it makes them appear intelligent.

It is just the nature of message boards, especially when they have a large number of members.

Not saying I always like it, but it does happen.

The problem is that often times pessimism is presented as realism, with phrases such as ‘the glass is half empty’ which is a euphemism for pessimism. I prefer sarcasm to pessimism. Sarcasm is more entertaining than pessimism which is not realism merely cynicism, but I feel your paroxysm.

Calm down.

Any personal attack on the internet should be taken with a grain of salt. Any censoring that you might want isn't right. Censoring is like a condom (think about it), sure its safe, but who really wants to use it.

The mods here are doing an incredicble job, let them do it. I'm liberal in what people can type, very liberal, too liberal. Whatever you type in response, I don't really care, but it should be heard.

Negative or positive, who cares. Get the girlies out of all of your posts, its irritating.

I think you just exploded the innernets.

it has seemed to increase a bit, but just go to the cowboys google group and then come back here and youll feel like youre in shangri-la :)

Man I hate sand traps.

I think I have had one successful up / down in my life.

But like you were saying... its because no one is face to face. The internet allows everyone to be a "bully" by hiding behind a keyboard. I would love to see some of the people around here say what they say in person. I'm no tough guy so dont let this come off like I would pound some people if I saw them in real life ;)

Some people are way more guilty of this than others... and I think that if you start putting some of the more egregious offenders on "IGNORE" then you'll find yourself a lot happier in the long run.

Just some friendly advice.

oh this is just garbage. you can talk negative all you want. my last 2 years was pretty much anti-bill. it's when agendas crash you get sideways. in my case, it's when i go to my own private (in public) war against someone's agenda it can get ugly. zrin, silverbear and myself are notorious for that.

in the end if you think people never treat others this way in public - go to a philly game in your roy williams jersey. : )

Hate to nit-pick here, but that would be a flock, and sheep is plural. Don't believe me? Ask HeavyHitta, he's an A&M fan, they're experts on livestock nomenclature.

That explains it...I knew you were all alike and had the same agenda.
