But I believe that this team is a different team than any that we've had in years....even better than the 13-3 team.

This isn't to say that we can't falter in the coming weeks, but I think the odds of us doing that are alot slimmer with this team.

That 13-3 team did not have Miles Austin, Felix Jones, Keith Brooking, Mike Jenkins, a rookie Spencer. This team is better IMO by virtue of those players alone.

Yeah, that 13-3 team seemed way too reliant on Romo. I had a feeling that we weren't exactly balanced that year, and it would kill us in the playoffs. This year we just seem to good-to-great all around. The only real hole I see is field goal kicking. But as Adam always mentions, the most important key to success in this league is whether you can pass the ball and stop the pass. If that's true (and I'm not going to argue with that guy and his arsenal of stats), you gotta be feeling pretty darn good about the Cowboys because the Cowboys are excelling at both right now.

I still believe that we are VERY reliant on Romo....and in fact have been since he became the starter.

I've felt that the past couple of years were COMPLETELY on his shoulders and still pretty much feel that way. We HAVE a running game that really needs to be utilized in a more correct manner.

Every part of the offense has been inconsistent this year, except Romo. He's been tremendous after the first month or so of the season.

The running game has been great at times, awful at times. You could say that about the other skill players, and especially the OL.

OTOH, since the Denver game, the passing game has been the one thing we could count on. While I fault Garrett for a great many things, I don't believe overreliance on Romo should be one of them.

Yeah, I should probably clarify a little bit. Back in 2007, I felt like the pressure was on Romo to put up 28 points or more every game, or the defense would find a way to blow it. That's not really a formula for success in the postseason when other teams can score and slow down your team. Romo is still the key as always, but I don't feel like he has to score 28 points to win. If he plays good, mistake-free football, chews up clock, and puts some points on the board, I feel this defense is good enough to still win games. That's something we couldn't exactly say before.
