Reinke, 55, had been cited for drunken and disorderly conduct in a third national park, Grand Teton, last Saturday and was released on $500 bond that required him to follow the law and avoid alcohol.

LMAO, what a strange quirky thing to do. "Gee, officers, I don't know what comes over me. I get a little too much to drink, I just gotta go to a national park and screw with the indigenous mammals. I need therapy but there is no group therapy for this particular malady". ...follow the law and avoid alcohol. I'd say he's struggling and 0-2.

Generally I'm on "team people." However, I'm 100% always routing for the animal when a stupid human mistreats and disrespects the beauty and power of a wild animal.
That's why when animals find a loop hole or escape route they jack up a human.

I did not mean the taunting part - I meant the putting yourself right in front of a 2000-3000lb animal!

I agree ...

If he keeps it up, one of these days one of those wild animals will take him out. Even the calmest looking animals you need to be careful. 2 years ago in Jasper National Park I was taking to a store clerk who has had several elk charge her, forcing her to take evasive action. In Jasper it very common to see Elk in the town site. All she was doing was going to work ...

Respect the animals, they were here first, we are just visiting.

But this guy has a bizarre habit of getting drunk in national parks and getting in trouble. Never heard anything like this, 3rd time in a national park? Is that the only place he drinks? Is he afraid of getting unruly in a bar? "I need the wide open spaces when I drink and plenty of fauna to bother".

lukey, I might be missing something here. I haven't been to a national park in some time and maybe that's a great place to get drunk; however, he's not done a good job of not getting caught. He needs more cover and stay out of the open areas.

He might get hurt if he is taunting someone in a bar. It looks like animals have more restraint than people...
