Not only does he do a poor job here but he has the nerve to wait 3 weeks after the season ends to make a descision so all the hot coaching canidates go elsewhere, thanks bill way to be a class act.

I believe he was contractually obligated to make up his mind by the week after the Superbowl. So, it looks like he has class enough to do it 3 weeks early.:D

Don't be shocked if you find out later that he has worked with Jerry to hand pick a replacement.

I too wished that he'd made his decision a bit earlier but he didn't.

As far as the rest, I'm not so hard on him. Our talent level and cap situation are light years ahead of where we were when he came here. We have a franchise QB. We have a franchise TE. We have a Franchise CB and OLB or DE. We have a very decent set of WRs. We're OK.

I have always been a fan of Bill Parcells and I still am. I have to admit that all of these years, I didn't love the fact that we had a former NYG as our head coach but then again, that's the way the NFL is today. I am thankful for the Job that Parcells did for us. I wish him well in whatever else.

what i am being hard on him for is his record, 34-32 and no playoff wins, the worst coaching job by far hes done in his career.

3 weeks? You wanted him to decide before the play offs even started?

It's good he's gone, but no worries about timing. Now is always the best time.

I agree that we are in much better shape talent wise then when he came...light years ahead. What ever HC we hire will be walking into a great situation.

This team can easily go 3-4 or 4-3 with who we have now...we need a few missing parts, but not many.

Basically two or three FA's, and one or two draft pics away from completion as far as i'm concerned.

We need someone to coach this good YOUNG talent now!

Whatever.

It's not that long ago that we were the laughing stocks of the media everywhere. We have gone from the but of every joke to at team who is only a few pieces away from contention. Excellent cap shape. Good position moving foward. I, for one, see progress in what Parcells has accomplished in Dallas. If I am alone, that's fine. I've been alone before.

No big deal.

Beat the team that is representing the AFC in the Superbowl this year. Held them to less points, sacked Manning more and created more turnovers than the vaunted Ravens or Pats defense.

I'm not sure but he has done it in the past. He likes to pick replacements and get 'his' guys an opportunity.

What makes them any better than anyone else.

Did everyone expect Payton to take the Saints to the NFC Championship game. Do you think N.O. were jumping for joy when he was hired. They were saying who in the hell is this guy, another 4-12 rebuilding year.
