I have alot of confidence in this Cowboy's team but , im having trouble seeing us beating them in there dome. Drew Bree's had one of the best qb games ive ever seen tonight. He just has so many options, he throw's to everybody, and it seem's that everyone is wide open alot. His throws tonight and reads were perfect.

The one thing im happy about when we face them is they will have one less day to prepare for us as we play them on Saturday. good for our defense because peyton and brees are so good.

Part of me wonders if they shot their wad tonight trying to prove themselves against the most successful franchise of the last decade in a national spotlight game. I mean Drew Brees threw for 16 Yards per Attempt. Those are numbers that would be staggering even in Madden.

That being said, they looked absolutely scary tonight. The Cowboys are going to need to bring their A game if they want to beat these guys.

I said this is in the other post and I believe it too be true....I do not think the Saints are unbeatable. The freaking 1-8 Rams almost beat them. I think the Cowboys have a good shot at taking them down a notch!

Go Cowboys!

They've been almost this good all year. Granted, NE is overrated and the Saints D took a hit for a few weeks with Sharper and Ellis out, but they've been very consistent.

Patriots made so many mental mistakes tonight.

As long as we play SMART, we'll be right there with them.

Our D doesn't give up big plays, so Brees is gonna have to earn his TD's against us.

the only problem with your theory is the patriots had the number 1 defense in the league when it comes to points . The Saint's shredded them like a hot knife through butter tonight.

Brees can basically put the ball wherever he wants it. It's not going to matter that much that we don't blow coverages--he can beat tight coverage.

We'd have to score with them, which we're capable of doing, but it won't be easy. And to do that, we'll have to stop Greg Williams' blitzes, first.

And we just don't do that very well. That's the most worrying aspect of our team right now. I really hope we can figure it out in a hurry because we're running out of time and all those teams we're going to be facing from here on out know it's our weakness.

We can do it well enough to win, like we did in Philly (that was an impressive win). But those games are dicey and it's a good way to lose to a decent team. We should be killing teams who blitz us with the personnel we've got, and it kills me that we don't b/c of mental errors.

The good news is, it is something I can see us fixing if the offense just builds on small successes and gets confident that it can really be a dominating unit, but we've got to do it during this stretch.

Dam, Brees looked like a freaking machine out there. I really dont see anybody going into New Orleans and beating them, not even us.

I just hope we dont get embarrassed, seriously.

Coming into tonight..

1. Cincinnati - 15.8
2. New England - 16.4
3. Dallas - 16.5
4. Indianapolis - 16.7
5. Baltimore 17.1

After tonight, New England is 7th at 18.4

That is exactly the game I point to when I think about the vaunted Saints, this year's media darlings. They struggled against the Dolphins and I believe the Panthers as well. Sure the Saints are a very good team, but not unbeatable.

The Pats defense is okay, but nothing to write home about. Their secondary is pretty bad if you ask me. Brees seemed to have all the time in the world. If you can get pressure on Brees, he becomes human.

it does not matter that they only have one day to prepare for us. a 3-4 defense against them would just be stubborn stupidity....and guess what, like we did with Parcells I am sure Wade will trot the 3-4 out against them. I would play Nickel the WHOLE game. Conventional wisdom says if we do that the Saints would them have to run it on us.....well that is EXACTLY what you want them to do. And here is the other thing....you absolutley run it on them and choke them with beef all night long. See if they want any parts of a game like that.

The main problem with trying to stop the Saints is that a lot of their big games have been at the Superdome.

When they went to the NFCCG a few years ago, I felt they would have beaten the Bears had that game been in the Superdome and not at Soldier Field.

Of course, it appears that they will have the #1 Seed and the NFC will go through the Superdome which will make it extremely tough to beat them.

Also, I will go ahead and say this now, I believe the Saints just may go undefeated in the Regular Season.

However, I think the game against the Cowboys will be closer than most think.

The formula for beating the Saints? Run the ball, win time of possession, keep Brees and company on the sidelines for most of the game.

It's hard to throw the ball all over the field if you aren't on the field.

I don't think we win a shootout against them.

Tell the O-line, it's beatdown time. :)
