The guy is slow vs Fowler and Sam Williams. I never liked him as a pick and think he is just a warm body. Why are we wasting time making him a starter and the key RDE spot to boot? Give those reps to Fowler & Williams.
I did not get the contract he got either.
This front office fumbled the ball at this position.
They're too locked into
Their guys, and don't seem to seriously consider other teams free agents.

If he fails, we have other options. So it's not that big of a deal. But, apparently we were bottom of the league in yards per carry and he's good against the run.

Armstrong compiled a very solid campaign w/career highs in tackles (37), sacks (5), & QB hits (12) while also adding a fumble recovery, a blocked punt, & a defensive touchdown against the Washington in week 14. He recorded 36 pressures & 23 QB hurries in just 13 games last season (five starts).

He's a hidden gem. Some people love him, & some don’t, but when you look at a few of the advance stats, Armstrong was second amongst Cowboys defenders in hurries & pressures last season, only behind I’m sure you can guess, Parsons!
Guys has improved every year, has earned the spot. If Fowler or Williams shows they can do the job better, then he will get pushed aside. His contract isn't that big...average starter level at best.

Thank you! The guy came cheap, has worked to get better year after year and people here want to dump him. This guy is a success story. He may not be the guy that wins a ton of games for you, but he won't be the guy that loses them either. Lunch pail guy.

Cause we pay jags. NE never did which is why they can always afford to go buy a star player. We pay JAGs.

Armstrong's stats are deceiving. Who would you rather block?

Parsons
Gregory
Lawrence

or could you be scared of Armstrong last year?

He is a afterthought

Maybe he just earned the start. He is coming off his most productive year. Regardless there will be quite a bit rotation.

Never liked him as a pick? He was a 4th rounder...the fact that he has proven to be a solid role player/special teamer and a keeper in the league is all you can ask for as a 4th round pick. And he just came off a 5-sack season...I think he is one of the more underrated players on the team. But because he's not a superstar people hate him
