screw beckems catch and the highlight of them cramming in down the throat.
Yes fantastic catch, but WE WON,
Lol give him the highlight

WE WON,,,,,,,!!

Hello! Did they forget who won the game? Collingsworth's and Michaels were clearly rooting for Beckham to make more great catches so they could gush. Michaels almost wet his pants when Beckham got hurt. If he was a Cowboy I wonder if he would still be as loveable to all the mediots.

Its well deserving hype though. He's on a rival but the guy made the best catch i've ever witnessed in my life. Dez has his share of them as well but that one right there? Impressive. It pissed me off at the time but we got the W so they can play it all they want now lol.

I thought it was pretty equal. I'm sure Giants fans were tired of hearing them gush all over our offensive line lol.

But not at the expense of Cowboys highlights. At one point it wasn't clear who won the game if you hadn't seen it for yourself.

It was one of the greatest catches I've ever seen.

With that said...

I'm already annoyed by it cause ESPN has spent the last 2 hours drooling over it nonstop. You wouldn't even know Dallas won the game if you watched SportsCenter tonight. Had to catch the score on the ticker. And the worst part is, I can't find my remote so I can't change the channel. *cries*

Naw they didn't spend nearly as much time on anything Dallas did, including the win itself.

Yeah but I mean it was one of those once in a lifetime things. Its better to over show it than down play it. That catch truly was amazing. I actually think he made it even look easier than it was. If you would've told me that a player was capable of catching a football like that with 3 fingers i'd tell you its not humanely possible. It deserved the coverage but I can understand if people were upset by its coverage. I was too until we won the game lol. Now I can sit back and respect the catch.

No they didn't but they spent all game talking about how great our line is and how great Demarco is. Dez and Romo took a backseat to both of them as well as the catch lol.

After the game is where it really got on my nerves because I want Cowboys highlights after a victory. During the game after he made the catch was perfectly fine with me. All great plays are replayed over and over, but once a team wins it should be about them. Just my take on it.

The pic of Coughlan after the game was priceless. He knew what was more important. There isn't anything ESPN can do to lessen the importance of a divisional win on the road.

Sportscenter is on par with TMZ at this point. Mindless drivel that delivers zero insight. I stick with the sport's own networks they all have. ESPN is terrible for anything other than live sporting events they televise.

It was a ridiculous catch and deserved to get some attention.

That being said, reverse the situation. Say Dez makes that same insane catch BUT the Giants win the game after Eli leads the game-winning drive.

There's no doubt in my mind that SportsCenter wouldn't have spent half the time on Dez's catch as they did Beckham's. It would be treated as a mere footnote, with the REAL story being that Eli's a hero again and the Cowboys are imploding with 3 losses in 4 games.

I'll take it a step further. With the situation reversed, say it's Romo who tossed that awful INT (instead of Eli) with the Cowboys in the redzone when he missed a wide open WR over the middle. I'd bet that THAT play would be shown on SportsCenter even more than the insane catch by Dez. "Romo screws up in the clutch yet again!!!"

It's just the way the media treats the Cowboys. The Giants are a 3-8 joke who blew a double-digit lead at home vs a division rival, but their failure is a footnote to the greatness that is Odell Beckham Jr.'s catch.

It was a great catch but, in the end, all he caught was the loss.

Best catch I've ever seen.

Character win but what this game shows is the difference between a supposedly good team and a bad one isn't much.
