This is the truth, I coach debate and we say the same thing -- gotta beat your opponents so bad that no matter what the judges predispositions they know you won. If you leave it close, its your fault for giving the referees the opportunity to ruin your game. When you start blaming refs, you stop blaming yourself and you start that slide back into mediocrity.AMERICAS_FAN;3534702 said:It happens to every team. If you want to win a Super Bowl in this legue, I always say, "You've got to beat the refs!" what that means is beating your opponent so soundly that no matter how badly the refs screw you it won't change the victory outcome of your game.
