I think there is a chance that Dallas might move up in the second to secure a CB they like a lot (although I still view it as a long shot).

Awuzie would be one of the few that would make me okay with that move. (Budda Baker would be another) Damn, I like that guys game.

Without a move up, don't forget about Desmond King either.

There are a lot of good players available but many will be gone by #60.

Awuzie is a solid player and I would have been OK if they picked him at #28.

It's worth a shot in the 4th, IMO. Somebody just needs to show him how much money he lost because of issues playing the run. As purely a coverage guy, he's probably as good as some guys that will get picked in the 2nd round.

He reminds me of Mike Jenkins. While Jenkins was not that tall, he did have really long arms. His issue was a lack of effort in run support. Unfortunately, Jenkins was here during the Wade Phillips era and didn't have anyone to ride his butt about being better against the run. Jenkins is still in the NFL.

Yeah he's a frustrating prospect. Right after 2:35 in the video where he gets tossed to the ground from a Tight End breathing on him, he has excellent redzone coverage in back to back plays.

Every game I've watched of his is like that. Some of the most pathetic attempts @ tackling you'll ever see coupled with excellent man coverage.

Jimmy Johnson went to great lengths to find guys who liked to play physical football. He said that people think guys don't mind the contact because they play in the NFL... when the reality is that many NFL players don't like to get physical.

He would pick and pick at their college coaches and tape trying to find guys who liked to play physically tough football. It was one of the main things Jimmy looked for (he said).

If it were just a matter of motivating guys to play tough, Jimmy would have had zero issues getting that out of players. Instead he spent a good portion of the pre draft process looking for physical, tough guys. I don't think you can coach that into or out of guys.

IOW, they have it or they don't.
