I enlisted in the army yesterday

Taking my 37 year-old self off to the 'warrior transition course'. It's kind of like basic training for guys who have been in the military before. I signed up to be a 25B (Information systems operator/analyst) so I'll be learning how to set up and troubleshoot computers and internet. I am pretty excited about it! I have been mostly a stay-at-home parent since my wife enlisted in the army back in 2001. Now that the youngest kid is in school it is time for me to get myself a career.

I leave on January 27th and will still try to post as often as I can!

I have a pretty good IT profession after starting as a 29N in the Army...

Only thing bad about was that I was in AIT for nearly a year in Ft. Gordon,GA.

Congratz on signing up. WTC is still at Knox isn't it? Have fun up there in the middle of winter. I went through basic and AIT at FLW (I'm a 21B) in the winter and that was no fun at all.
