I feel a bit sorry for Justin Fields

He is only concerned about his next payday. Usually a qb will make more on their second pay day, but you really want to secure that first one because at least you "set" yourself for life.

He might not get a second payday if Chicago keeps treating him the way they are.

Maybe, but it can't be fun having the situation he's got in terms of the coaching staff and organisation that he's got. He's had two coaches that have been useless with him. His oline is complete crap. The team is an absolute mess, and they are teetering on an implosion within the first 3 weeks of the season. I'd be shocked if they win a game this see with how bad things seem to be in Chicago, and it's not entirely Fields' fault.
Welcome to what our QBs dealt with playing under Garrett/Linehan/Moore. And the OL's Romo had.

Me too. He played better in college than he is now. I think he is right about the coaching in Chicago.
Yeah, because in college if the first read wasn't there, he either extended the play, or took off running. You can't live off of busted plays and your legs in the NFL. You can in college. Now the Bears are trying to make him something he never was.

Have you guys watched "A Football Life" with DeSean Jackson? I didn't like him before I watched it, but after, I couldn't stand him even more. Both him and his dad. They both were all about themselves. They showed footage of him in Pop Warner, his dad would stand on the sideline and would threaten his coach with stuff like "If you don't give him the ball more we're going to a different team." You could tell the coach was annoyed by that. I guess his dad is more to blame for him being a total "Me!" type player.
parents usually are. sometimes college ruins them too.
