I am literally exhausted right now. Just way to many emotions going on.
First, I must say I am ready for the Romo era to begin. I have liked Romo for sometime now for many reasons you saw last night.
With that being said I really feel bad for Bledose. He is a big boy and will be fine, but since he has been here I have learned is is one hell of a stand up guy, he wants it bad, but his limitations just will not let it happen. Drew, I wish you all the luck in the world. Thanks for trying, I know you did the best you could.
Romo, well once they announced he has starting the second half I pretty much knew what happened, was going to happen. Romo was thrown to the wolves last night, but that really says a lot of what the coaching staff thinks of Romo. You could really see the confidence they had in him by the play calling. I think the Dallas organization believes in Tony Romo.
The good in Romo was obvious, and expected if you have watched him play. He just moves great in the pocket, can make things happen. He is accurate, gritty, has a good arm, and a very quick release. He also can realease the ball from several different angles. He moves the team, gets everyone involved, and IMO is really exciting to watch. I love this in Romo and it gives me great hope.
The bad in Romo. To me, I only see one thing! Know when the play is over and there is nothing there. Romo seems to have no give up, and feels he can make any play, which you got to love, but he has to learn how to minimize the mistakes. Know when to just go to the next play.
The concern is how does he do that, and then still be able to make those great back yard plays, which is a strength. He has to find that balance, he knows it , Parcells knows it, and everyone else knows it. The question is can you do that without taking away what he brings to the table.
That is the only question I have about Romo. If he can do that I REALLY THINK WE HAVE SOMETHING THERE! I have thought so for some time now.
Let the Romo era begin, because like many I think we have seen what we will get with Bledsoe.
I am completely disappointed in many other areas.
We where literally dominated Physically. That just sucked! I was stunned. The Giants looked tougher, faster, and like they wanted it more.
We looked just a tad late to everything, and the Giants slammed the ball down our throats. They picked up our blitzes like it was nothing, and we could not even block there front 4. Sometimes it looked like we just choose not too. The way they ran the ball on us was just embassarsing.
Like I said, I am like a roller coaster right now with all kinds of feelings going on. I guess that is why I love this game!
