I feel like my grandfather just died or something

Except that your grandfather loved you, bud.

Darn. Keep me away from that bridge!!! :cry2:

No need to be a jerk just for the sake of being a jerk, although I will admit, you're terribly good at it.

Never had a grandfather.

And I don't need advice from a "fighting idiot".

don't cry too much for Old Bill P. He's not losing any sleep over leaving you.:D

Specter that is biologically impossible. Everyone has a grandfather! You must mean you never knew him, but still, you had to have had a grandfather. Research it, the Fighting Indiots at Farmers Branch have a great library and we even have books and computers.

Bill quit on the team. He didn't die and he wasn't fired. Big difference.

There are alot of people who have an unhealthy obsession with celebrities and alot of people who couldn't care less about the guy who is currently coaching their favorite sports team so long as he's winning.
I consider myself to be the very rare balance between the two.

For 4 years now I have listened to Bill offer 30 minutes daily to the media open to every question from football to growing old to handling fame to health, marriage, divorce and life. His Q & A's have become a welcomed daily routine for me for a very long time now and it will be difficult to adjust to no longer having that to look forward to. I have developed a large amount of respect for the guy and yet I did not support his every action like most in my shoes would. This is especially odd as I have never thought twice about someone I did not know personally and while I'm not losing sleep over it, I am a little less interested in my favorite pasttime today than I was yesterday.

He was good for the game and, as a dying breed, the NFL is a little worse off without him. Whatever his record was, I believe Parcells always had the best interest of the Dallas Cowboys in mind and wanted the same thing we fans wanted and he gave his all to deliver.
Some things are bigger than winning.

This is a sad, sad day in the football fan life of Spectre.

I will miss the press conferences also, however nobody is bigger than the STAR.

The way Tuna had to "think about it" for weeks made me sick. If somebody ask you if you want to coach the Cowboys, you say "Hell Yes" or walk.

This sitting on the fence crap was insulting to Jerry, the fans, and the team in my opinion. Some will say jerry let him have that long, but that still does not make it right.

I can understand taking a couple of days, maybe 1 week tops. If at the end of a week you still dont know, then it is time to go.
