There are alot of people who have an unhealthy obsession with celebrities and alot of people who couldn't care less about the guy who is currently coaching their favorite sports team so long as he's winning.
I consider myself to be the very rare balance between the two.
For 4 years now I have listened to Bill offer 30 minutes daily to the media open to every question from football to growing old to handling fame to health, marriage, divorce and life. His Q & A's have become a welcomed daily routine for me for a very long time now and it will be difficult to adjust to no longer having that to look forward to. I have developed a large amount of respect for the guy and yet I did not support his every action like most in my shoes would. This is especially odd as I have never thought twice about someone I did not know personally and while I'm not losing sleep over it, I am a little less interested in my favorite pasttime today than I was yesterday.
He was good for the game and, as a dying breed, the NFL is a little worse off without him. Whatever his record was, I believe Parcells always had the best interest of the Dallas Cowboys in mind and wanted the same thing we fans wanted and he gave his all to deliver.
Some things are bigger than winning.
This is a sad, sad day in the football fan life of Spectre.
