JJ and the Cowboys have robbed me of my usual passion for NFL games and the season is not even half over. I avoid all sports shows on radio and tv because of the Cowboy bashing.

You know that feeling you get that starts Monday morning and slowly builds the entire week in anticipation of the upcoming Cowboys game? It's gone. It's like the bye week over and over and over.

Baseball is over, I hate the NHL and NBA. College football is ok, but it's not even close to the passion I have for NFL football. College BB hasn't started yet.

I no longer care of the Eagles, Commanders or Giants lose or win......just don't care. I have not looked at an NFL standings in three weeks. Only thing that keeps me from totally ignoring the NFL right now is fantasy football.

Now I have to put up with my Packer fan friends and family this week.:banghead:

Is there an NFL fan therapist out there?

Hostile... He'll even warm you up to the idea of having Jerry's son Jason Garrett being the next Head Coach.

Stephen Jones looks so much better than Jerry in your picture.

I agree.I booked a trip to Las Vegas for New Years. You have time to do some house remodeling , painting, or a trip with loved ones.I have moved on.Also the Texans are in the hunt and the Spurs /Mavericks are playing these days.

Wade's checkin out that Tea glass and/or Jerry just ordered his favorite type of pizza.

As with every year, there is this major anticipation of the upcoming season, and the grand hope of how they will improve, the draft, training camp, you believe a lot of the hype about how they are doing, then comes that sick feeling in the pit of your stomache, no one can do anything right, even the dog is irritating you by staring at you, Welcome to the wonderful world of being a Cowboys fan, and trust me when i say, short of a Superbowl year, it only gets worste with each passing year and decade.........:lmao:

Worste? Now that is really bad.

And to answer your robbery inquiry. You were robbed thats why you feel this way. You were swindled, snookered, Roethlisbergerized, lied to, and yes, robbed.

JJ and his goons, led by the Skipper of the USS Minnow, fed us a bunch of bullcrap and we ate it up.

This team is not very good. Period. They are about 8 positions, 3 coaches, and 1 GM away from competing at a Superbowl level.

but unfortunately true, the more years you remain a Cowboys fan, the more you realize how passionately you love them, and how they are a part of your existence, and how deeply, almost wounding would be a fair description, your disappointment goes when they fall on their collective faces, yet there is something that keeps you coming back, and forever hopeful that this is the year, and every time it isnt, how its like being kicked in the stomache, and the more b.s. you have to put up with from the many, many Cowboy haters there are in the world, and now after 50 years of faithful following, I'm for the first time not sure I will live long enough to see them back on top, amazingly depressing...................

You should feel robbed. Jeffro is a thief.

being a fan, like anything in life.......isnt risk free:rolleyes:

I can't get over that picture in your sig. Jerry Jones is on the phone getting bamboozled by another GM on a draft day deal, Stephen Jones is crunching the numbers to see how Jerry's stupid deal will work out under the cap, and there's Wade, oblivious to all of it, admiring Jerry's beverage thinking "I wonder if Jerry will notice if I reah over and take a sip".

:laugh2:

You feel robbed as a fan because you were. Wade never did what he had to do in the off season to get these guys ready. The players never did what they had to do in the offseason to make sure they were ready. They were never ready to play. Wade said they were ready and so did the players. But it was the fans that saw that they weren't ready even in preseason. And when we said it, it offended the players and the coaches. The told us, "don't worry, we'll flip the switch" We're just playing vanilla. "Don't worry". Now what's happening was what we were worried would happen. Now, 8 weeks later, Wade is saying apparently the team wasn't prepared so they're going back to fundamentals - which is what you work on in the pre-season. What the hell is working on fundamentals going to do when you're seven games into a 1-6 seaon? Too little too late. They should have worked on this non-sense 15 weeks ago when preseaon started. Bunch of friggin idiots.

So, you were robbed by Wade, the players, and their excuse making, laxadazical, denial.

Suck it up,be a fan and stop whining.....it as happened before and will happen again.
