to me.........he runs with a passion for the endzone or a first down marker regardless of any physical damage to himself or the poor defenders in his way.

i love mb3.

what a player he is...he has this unique way of doing a somersault fighting for yardage and still keep his head and momentum going forward as he pushes off from his legs.

i think barber gets off running the ball....he feels it down to the core..

like a person who skydives
like a bullrider
like a person who wants to ride the scariest rollercoaster known to man

mb3 is allsome..

I'm interested in seeing how Marion Barber Jr. (his dad) ran. I wonder if the apple fell far from the tree.

In all honesty if you want to compare him to somebody (sorry NextGenBoys) he runs a lot like this guy http://youtube.com/watch?v=cHeR7TWdW-Y.

And that guy was a BEAST for awhile.

Ahh very good call. One major difference that stuck out to me is that Ricky Williams has alot quicker feet than Barber does. Not to take anything away from him though...

I agree, I see a lot of Earl Campbell in Barbers running style. Braber adds 5 more pounds of muscle to frame he's Campbell.

Downside is that style eventually wears a back out.

Which is why I dont want his role changed. No starting for him.
Next year... same role with McFadden leading the charge.

We will have truest "Lightning and Thunder" combo... ever!

I agree with this. The way he lowers his shoulder pads and brings his knees up higher at the point of contact reminds me of the Tyler Rose.

He's quickly approaching being an all time favorite for me.

Barber size is decieving....

What is he? 6ft 220lbs?

Doesnt look that big but runs like he thinks he is 240......

I just wish he had quicker feet and a little better speed......

But he sure knows how to squim in creases....and loves contact

Bob Costas interviewed Campbell last week on HBO. i couldn't believe how bad he looked. He could barely walk. :(

Marion is always gonna share the load ...... precisely so he will not turn out like Campbell.
