Why would anyone guarantee that? It’s very unlikely. But how people thought the Bucs we’re gonna beat us? That was ridiculous…LOL in the predict the score thread I nailed it 31 - 14… What do I win?

Lots of Cowboys fans overestimated or overlooked how bad the Bucs were and were focused/obsessed how inconsistent and sloppy the Cowboys were since Thanksgiving. I don't blame anybody for thinking the Cowboys were going to lose tonight. But OTOH it was easy to forget that the Cowboys did get to 12-5 two seasons in a row and have played like a top 5 team many times this season.
I've given up trying to figure out which Cowboys team will show up on any given Sunday. But it does look like a lot of it hinges on the offensive line protecting Dak enough to where he can get comfortable and get in rhythm. Then everything else seems to fall into sync (that complimentary football thing we always hear about).
I have no idea if the Cowboys OL can repeat what they did tonight against the 49ers. We'll find out next week.

to be honest lots of cowboy fans are just pessimestic. they focus soley on the negative aspects while completly ignoring the facts. Daks ints were a big focus for example and rightfully so but completely ignoring how bad the Line had been pass blocking

That's very true. Whatever negatives that can be said about the Cowboys can be said for most other teams. The margins between winning and losing in the NFL these days is way smaller than it used to be.

Well I have to give credit where credit is do. I honestly did not know just how pitiful the Bucs were. I knew they were the worst team in the playoffs, but I thought even being as bad as they were, they still had a chance with Brady, even though he was having the worst year of his professional career. Looks like he should have thrown in the towel a year ago and possibly even have saved his marriage. The Bucs were awful and so was Brady. Well I was wrong and you were right.

That's basically how I saw the game. Everybody kept saying how bad the Bucs were and I just kept waiting for Brady to show up and take the game over. But after watching Brady speak after the game, I got the vibe that he's done and that a big of him wanted it to be over.
