If we go to Seattle I have a feeling we will get ran all over by Alexander and blown out, dont' forget they are the defending NFC champs.....oh well the way this team is playing that's about what we deserve anyway.

Munchis....Out!!

Actually Mickey Spagnola made an interesting point on Talking Cowboys this week. He says Shaun Alexander's avg yrds per game against us is 55 yards. That's not that much. Also, Hassleback hasn't cleaned our clock either.

For the last couple of years we have played Seattle pretty well and would have beaten them last year if not for Bledsoe's INT. Spags was pointing out that we do pretty well against pocket passers and for the most part, I have to agree. My fondest hope is that we beat Chicago in the 2nd round, Philly gets past NO in the 2nd and we get Philly for the NFC title. I think this is our best chance to get to the SB, even though Andy Reid can outcoach BP any day of the week. Playing NO may take most of what Philly has to offer...

In case anyone has been too busy running around lighthing themselves on fire and jumping off ledges in recent weeks to bother to log onto NFL.com, and from the looks of the board lately that seems to be just about everyone, Seattle is currently working on a three game losing streak that includes losses to such NFC powerhouses as Arizona and San Francisco.

Yep, they're an unstoppable force.

I think the best-case scenario for us would be - we beat Seattle, then go onto to Chicago and win there. While the Giants win at Philly, then go onto to New Orleans and beat them.

The Cowboys would host the NFC Championship game against the Giants. I'd hope by then, our team will have figured out how to finally play like their capable and win out.

You know that tonight's game really doesn't have any baring as to who we face, right?

If Philly loses, we take over the divisional title with a win. If they win, we'll remain the #5 seed no matter what.

My best case scenario is Dallas wins over Seattle and Chicago and a New Orleans win over Philadelphia, setting up a New Orleans/Dallas NFC Championship game. I want Dallas to win the division every year, but then the Cowboys and Saints couldn't meet for the NFC title.

Seattle is a dangerous team...they KNOW how to win...they've not been healthy all year...and they're at home.

I'd be surprised to see the Eagles lose today...

I gotta say, I'm so sick of rooting for and against other teams to take care of business that we HAD in our control.

I'm not holding my breath on this one. Today's game is pretty much meaningless in this regard as well because Detroit is such a poor team and we haven't had much diffiulty with bad teams this season.

I have seen nothing from this team in December which indicates any of our problems are solvable until the offseason. If they were easy fixes, we would have done them. We are relatively healthy. Therefore we lack personnel....or coaching....or both. There is no magic wand for this team.

That's the killer for me.

We are way beyond relatively healthy. I can't remember a Cowboy team that has had less injuries.

The Eagles lost their starting QB....the Giants lost both DE's and their LT, starting WR and others...

I hope this team rights the ship in a hurry.

Thats why I never bother with all the scenarios. If we need to hope this or that it makes no difference. We just need to take care of our path in the playoffs. It makes for a much less painful headache.
