I had a dream last night

It was Sunday, January 20, 2013...Cowboys Stadium, 110k fans, light snow outside...Fox has Summerall and Madden doing special guest announcing.

Final 2 minutes of the 4th quarter and we have Orton in kneeling out the game....hugs and kisses all around. Jerry is down on the field hugging a crying Dez. Romo and Jason are getting gatorade showers. At least 50 past greats are down on the sideline in their old jerseys...Staubach, Lilly, Dorsett, Pearson, Garrison in his Cowboy hat, Irvin, Aikman, Smith, Moose, Dat, ..etc. Everyone is there.

Man I think I'm getting sucked in by all of the good things I'm hearing from TC....I'm starving for this moment.

I used to have dreams like that. Back in 89 and 90. Cowboys running out the clock in Candlestick, Staubach as an honary captin, tears flowing here and there and smiles all around.

Silly unrealistic dream.

Since I've lived it, I no longer dream that dream.

Since I've lived it, the next one doesn't seem like such an unrealsitic dream. It seems like it's always just around the corner.

Yeah, it was unpleasant, but there are far worse Super Bowl matchups that could happen. One Super Bowl I hope I never see is Steelers vs. 49ers. The prospect of the Niners getting their 6th ring before the Cowboys do, or the Steelers getting their 7th ring, is just terrible.
