Granted, but they still have Manning, OBJ and a slew of WR's that can get hot. The fact that Dallas couldn't generate a passing game is alarming.

I agree. Looked bad vs the vikings also. Scary thing is they are trending down in december. But there is still time.

I don't know. Would Tony have stopped Dez slipping leading to that interception or that fumble late in the game?

I don't know how anyone can say with a straight face that we beat the Bucs. They are a better team than he Giants AND have a significant wave a momentum.

I think it will be the Lions. They are red hot :banghead:and I think that next week's game will define the Cowboys this year. That is if the Cowboys have learned anything from the loss to the Giants!! If there is a trap game that would be the Eagles. We need to hope that the Giants lose a couple more games :flagwave:.

So when Tony Romo went down in August ... you predicted we'd go 13-3? Amazing !!!

Philly...we will win the next 2 games, lock up HF, then lose to Philly in a meaningless game.

This. Assuming our offense snaps out of its funk. If we can't beat Tampa Bay and Detroit at home, we're likely not having post season success. The next two games are huge for this team for a couple of reasons. First, we need to wrap up the division and home field, but just as important, the offense needs to get back on track.

But that's my thing I'm not saying bench him this week. But if they lose against Tampa you have to consider all options because time will be running out those next 2 games. But what do I know? Apparently everyone wants to roll with the Rookie who has been struggling for 3 games instead of what's best for the franchise winning a championship.

I see this team ending 12-4 right now and missing HFA, but still winning the East. Now if Dak doesn't get it together they will be 1 and done with the rookie and this season will be a complete waste.

3 straight games of under 200 yards passing and terrible 3rd down conversion rate is not Playoff caliber football. Don't care how you try and spin it.
I don't see how 12-4 and a playoff berth with a rookie qb is a complete waste.
None of us would have envisioned this scenario before the season started.
It is true you don't get here all that often so go for it when you have the opportunity.

Either way the season ends I look forward to the future

Not about what we "envisioned". We are here and have and have an opportunity. So yes if they decided to let it slip it's a waste.

Well Star;is that the debate," the FO decided to let it slip", I am sure the FO would "you know' lets screw whole season up".
Ya, thats what they'll do.

Listen if you continue down the same path the last 3 weeks and it continues against Tampa and you don't put all options in the table you are in a sense letting it slip away. I'm trying to keep it simple. Obviously they aren't sitting there saying how can we let this slip away, but inaction IMO is saying just that.

I'm hoping we'll win two more games and qualify for the home field advantage. Of course, anything can happen. I'm guessing we'll just have to watch to find out. Tampa Bay and Detroit will both really be tough competition and the Eagles would love to spoil our chances.

It won't be a cakewalk -- we can all bet on that. If we're deserving, we'll earn it by winning at least two of our remaining games. If we can't do that, then the playoffs might just present more of a problem than what we'd like them to be. ~crossing fingers~ ;)

Stafford has that sore finger, those injuries creep on you if not healed. Im not sure if the NFL allows Novocain injections. He may be good for 1 interception.

I had them going 11-5 coming out of the gates with an unproven Dak at the helm. They have far exceeded my expectations. 13-3 sounds about where we will eventally settle in.

What inaction? ,Their showing up to work going over film, seeing went wrong ,who didn't execute
and they'll take it to the team meetings and then to the field. What you really mean is they need to do what Cowboystar88
wants them to do and if they don't ,thats "inaction".
