Ugh.

9 hours of road time comin up. Not looking forward to it.

I so wish speed limits were just a little faster. Like 50 MPH or so.

At least it's not W. Kansas.

It's better than riding the gray dog :laugh2:

9hrs? Pfft....that's a commute. ;)

I'm driving 13hrs (one way) every weekend for the next 4 weeks or so....and I'll be driving 21 hours straight from FL to VT the last week of Sept.

Oh yeah...and I'll have a 6 year old, a 5 year old, and a two month old in the car with me to and back from VT.

Wanna come? :D

Taking a 4-year-old from VA to NY next week and back again 2 days later.

That will be nothing compared to a 2-year-old from VA to NE and back again.

However, you win this one for sheer number of children x number of trips. :D

I will never understand not liking to drive. I absolutely love to drive. I don't care the distance. Let me get behind the wheel and go. Ive driven to Dallas from Anchorage, AK. 3x already.

5200miles 1 way

Course, I have to be driving my car. :D You can also never drive me, because I will get sick and throw up while riding.

I'm jonesing for a road trip.

My wife is on the Pittsburgh Pirates bandwagon this year. (she picks underdogs each year and follows them) We almost drove to PNC Park last weekend to see a game. (about 8-9 hours each way I believe)

Love driving. Just got back from a 6 hr trip on Monday. Had i known it was still so hot, hellish around here I'd postponed my return....Anyway,got up at 2am and was gone by 3 bells. Arrived back to dfw just after rush hr wound down. It was me, the truckers , my dogs, some heavy fog,and probably some whack serial killers on the i-30. It's cool and advantageous as well to play cpt midnight. Only stopped once-a mere pit stop.

Night driving thru Kansas is better. Watch out for the deer.

Well. Not through Kansas this time.

Nearly all of Wyoming.

Me too, but not in a car. On a bike. One of these days I am going to start in San Diego, ride up the Pacific Coast to Washington. Head all along the upper 48 to Maine. Then ride down the East Coast all the way to Key West and finally just criss cross back and forth across America. Hit the old Route 66 and just see it.
