I Hate Nick Harper !!!!

I still can't forget Nick Harper's stupid decision to cut to the middle of the field and allow Roethlisberger to make the game saving tackle. I was watching the game with a house full of obnoxious Steeler fans who were in my face after Manning was sacked on 4th down and I told them it would be hilarious if the Steelers fumbled the ball and the Colts ran it back for a game winning touchdown. I couldn't believe it when it happened just as I had called it. When I saw Harper pulling away from the Steelers offensive lineman I was euphoric. I was picturing in my head this play being played back thousands of times over on NFL films for the next 20 years or so. Plus it was likely to be Bettis' final carry of his career. Life was good until Harper decided he was going to be Deion and make the return look even more incredible. Needless to say after their idiot liquered up kicker misses (same luck Steelers got against the Jets last year) the mood in the room changed 180 degrees. It was just like that cartoon of the Bills fans they have been showing on ESPN lately. Why can't the Steelers ever lose in heartbreaking fashion like the Cowboys and the Browns always seem to do. I have probably watched this play over 50 times now, each time hoping Harper runs it to the outside. And the reversed call on the Polamalu interception would have made the loss hurt even worse. I hate the lucky Steelers and I hate you Nick Harper!

I was also wondering why in hell he cut to the middle, if he takes it outside there is no way Big Ben catches him, no way at all!!!
Oh well, im not a Colts fan, so i could care less. I hope PIT wins the SB, it would be a great way for Jerome "THE BUS" Bettis to end his career.

I had wanted Indy to win b/c all that Tony Dungy had been through, but now since they choked once again, go PIT!!!!
Get that SB Bettis!!!!!!!

Yeah but it was Vanderjagt that missed the fg to possibly send the game to OT, then who knows after that....

Yep, it was a sure TD, he just choked like the rest of the team- he could have easily avoided Roethlisberger who was all turned around and flopping all over the place- Harper basically just ran into him.

He sure did blow his one oppotunity at football immortality. If he scores he would have been a legend. I wonder if that went through his mind last night?

We dont want the Steelers to win the SB ******!!! They would have 5 rings and become the most obnoxious fans besides the Eagles/Commanders. They dont need that pride. The Broncos will be them this Sunday and by a large amount.

This team is the luckiest team this year except for the Commanders. And more than likely they will choke just like every AFC title game since Cowher's hiring. Their SB run was a joke, there was no team to keep up with them.

I hate Cowher, gets by on luck the past few seasons, and will go to the HOF with no SB rings IMO, bad decision....

It's sure gone through mine enough, I'm sure it did his- I'm sorry you had to deal with those fair weather Steelers turds- my best friend is one- every time they are in trouble in a game that fool is calling me like I'm supposed to reassure him or something- he's such a punk that he got mad over the Polamalu int and turned the game off. Their fans are punks- they have the reputation of being so die hard but everytime they get in trouble in a game all you see are yellow seats at Heinz Field- I remember that playoff game in 2002when they were getting smacked by the Browns and they came back and won in front of about 35,000 fans. After the Cincy lost this year my friend said that 85 % of their fans were writing them off and calling for Cowher's head and talking about trading Roethlisberger for a first round pick- they are trash and don't deserve what they are about to get. *** them.

I tell you, the Steelers look like destiny's darling. They certainly are very lucky- they needed help to make the playoffs by having KC and SD lose some pretty winnable games and they had a cake schedule to end the season: home with Kyle Orton's Chicago in a snowstorm, at overrated Minnesota, at Cleveland, and home against Detroit- then New England lost and so Pittsburgh got to go to a swooning Cincy rather than certain defeat in New England. Then they drew the Indianapolis Chokes. I just think they have a horseshoe up their tails and are going to win the whole shebang.

I was pulling for the STealers...I think Rothlesberger had the angle on him to the outside...when he cut back, he broke Ben's ankles, but misjudged how tall Ben is...he was able to fall down and still grab an ankle.

Why was I pulling for the Stealers? Why do I hope Dungy and Manning never win a SB in INDY?

Because I'll never forgive the Colts, Macky, and O'Brian for stealing SB V, the SB in which Chuck Howley, who should be in the HOF, won MVP from the losing team.

Big Ben may have made the play of the year if they end up winning the SB.
I was rooting like heck for Pitt. I CANNOT STAND the Mannings. Freakin geeks and chokeartists. It makes me like them even less when everyone else wants little peyton to finally win something because he's such a great person....and the Colts are so....nice people....vomit.

I always disliked peyton in college because everyone talked and talked and talked about him and how great he was and his pedigree, blah blah blah, meanwhile he could NEVER beat Spurrier and didn't in his 4 tries and he still got an outside chance at a championship even after that loss and got lit up by Nebraska. Then Eli cries that he doesn't want to play in San Diego after he was one of the most overhyped QBs ever to come out and his family back him up with his dad talking to the press for him and pleading his case.
puke. Bunch of whiny babies. I hope they never win a playoff game and certainly don't win a SB.
I do like Tony D a lot, straight A class all the way...but I hope he only wins it after Peyton retires.

Go Panthers. Worst case scenario....go NFC. You guys can't be serious. All the flack the NFC got this year about being soft. I would love nothing more than to see a NFC embarrass an AFC team in the SB.

I really think both teams left in the NFC are better than AFC teams. Everyone still thinks that whoever comes out of the AFC is taking the Super Bowl easily. Reminds me of Texas-USC.

Many of us pulling for the Steelers were doing so only against the Colts. This week I'm a Denver fan and pulling for the maligned Plummer.

I'm also a Seattle fan this week. I don't want to see any more of Steve Smith...I've had enough.

I must be getting older than I thought. That's the equivalent of wanting the 49ers to win it IMO.

I think the Steelers are going to win it all now too. What really irks me is that our win against KC got them in and in retrospect did us no good as we missed the playoffs anyway. It sure is hard being a Cowboy fan living in Steeeler country. Their fans are the worst.
