I hate the vampire movie craze

If you want to see a pretty unique vampire movie, rent Let The Right One In. It's based on a great book, although they do change it a bit to make it more believable. I doubt you've seen a vampire movie like it.

That's definitely a unique take on the subject. I enjoyed it. They're doing a US version aren't they? I can't remember. I doubt R2A is the type to sit through a foreign language film with subtitles though.

Good point. :laugh2:

I had heard about a US version, yeah. I'm not sure what more they could possibly bring to the table with the movie, but we'll see I guess.

I want more westerns.

One of the best movies to come out in recent years was the remake of "3:10 to Yuma". I can't help but watch it anytime it's on.

They're gonna hang me in the morning.....

Great movie. Loved that one. Does a great job at explaining the character's motivations throughout.

Vampire comes, usually unexplained how. Vampire either goes on a nutjob spree doing something that makes no sense, or Vampire falls in love.

There all the same.

Read the Anne Rice novels. Skip Interview. I forget which one it is, but she gives an entire history lesson on the Vampire species from the very first one on through to their life cycles. Purty neat.

they need to make a movie of "pride and prejudice and zombies", great book.

"Interview" was the very first one in the series.

The movie was bleh!

I like vampire movies...but I hate the modified vampire angle (day breakers, blade 2) that has vampires morphing into something even worse! Oh nose!!!

There hasn't been a good vampire movie in a while...just crud like this and the Twilight series...not even real vampires, just panzies that sparkle.

You didn't like any of the "Underworld" movies? I though the first one was top notch!

Greatest Vampire Movie = The Lost Boys

I love the Lost Boys.

Let the Right One In is pretty good too. There's a US remake coming soon though.

I generally don't care for Vampire movies, but if I had to pick one I would say Dusk till Dawn. Only because of Salma Hayek in one particular scene. :laugh2:

Yeah, she literally busted onto the scene in that movie..or was it Desperado lol.

I love vampire movies and i watched 'Day Breakers'. I wasn't that good.

What I found really amusing about this movie was that the blood supply is only going to last for a month, yet they still use it in their coffee lol

Wouldn't you kind of ration that stuff?
