Add Spears to the mix and I'll take what we got and I wanted Jackson in the worst way.

Jackson does and has looked good.
Im glad he's getting the ball and not being held back by Faulk like I thought he would be.

I expect him to be a fine back for STL for years and probably extremely durable.

Spears aint too impressing so far to be honest.

If jones can stay healthy and play like he did against philly, then yeah, I like the trade...

Jackson is playing well. He's a really good back. Of course, the difference between Jackson and Julius is not so great that I wouldn't want Julius and Spears instead. Dallas did the right thing.

the better , more durable back - we may have missed.

With all due respect...

Are we gonna revisit this trade everytime 1 guy is up and the other down?

Trade made. Very reasonable for both teams. Its over, I'm moving on. :)

Jackson has looked very good recently but I'd take what we did all over again. I might be a little jealous if it wasn't for the fact that JJ has done very well when healthy and Barber is looking like a fourth round steal.

what's done is done... In 1996, I wanted Dallas to take Tony Brackens instead of sliding down and taking Kavika "Fireball" Pittman in the next round...

take 2 just don't work unless Doc Brown can get the "flux capacitor" in that DeLorean cranked up and running again.

I'm just glad that Philly was dumb enough to pass on him. They could sure use Jackson right now.

I am sorry guys but Jackson doesn't hold a candle to JuJo. Give JuJo a break he can't help the injuries.

Julius just needs to run like he did last year. The comparisons will always continue however.

Let's see Julius 197 carries 2004, 112 2005. Games with 26 or more carries = 6
Jackson 134 carries 2004, 138 2005. Games with 26 or more carries = 1

Jackson more durable? Who knows. He's not getting the ball as much as Julius.

Jackson is a fine back, but we made the better move when we made the trade.

Jones has a high ankle sprain...I think he's plenty durable. This couldhappen to Jackson too. He does look good though. Kevin Jones has shown his flashes. I think all 3 teams got good backs for years to come. But we also got Spears/Ware, depending on what we did this year based on it.

Just like the sunrise and sunset, I can always count on a daily thread or four about what draft pick we should have taken. It's comforting to be able to depend on something like this. And I always love the topic titles...

"I hate to say it..."
"Not to call anyone out..."
"I hate to say I told you so..."

::yawn::
