Teams are using same formula to beat the Cowboys that was used to beat the Bills when Bledsoe was there.

They double team his favorite reciever and put a load in the box to stop the run. Then they will Blitz to add pressure. Once his biggest weapon is taken away, he will struggle to try and get it to him and the pressure will cause mistakes.

Saw the same thing in Buffalo.

They have to be a good D in order to make it work and stop the run, but Ginats were able to do it with a strong front 4.

Drew has got to stop trying to thread the needle to double covered Glenn and hit other recievers.

We have got to start trying to run options or around the end when the box is stacked. Screen passes and short slants will work, ala NE fro a few years back.

We also need to get him in a groove with no-huddle and use the shotgun more...

Both Keyshawn and Witten have more catches than Glenn.

The problem is we are only putting two guys into the pattern because everyone else needs to stay in to pass protect - including even Keyshawn at times. *Everybody* is pretty much double covered.

It's hard to do anything when you use 2-3 man patterns cause everyone else has to stay in to block what sometimes is a 4-5 man rush. Heck, I have seen Key go in motion and line up next to the tackle to help out.

While this is true and furstrating, what are we going to do withoug their help? If we all think Bledsoe is getting pressure now, what would happen with less blockers?! I guess we could try it, it's not like we're blocking well anyhow ...

For starters, I think Barber has to play more. JJ flat out missed blitzers on several plays against the Giants.

It will hurt the running game, but the passing game is such a joke right now I don't see much choice.

Other than that, I don't see much in the way of a solution - other than 'play better.'

the defense is dictating to us---keep extra blockers in, and then being able to double the 2 receivers in the pattern..........BP has got to dictate to the defense ---but until you make them pay their memories are short and they just keep coming

gotta mix it up now and then and flood the patterns, but dont have the big receiver who can go up and get it deep with speed.....

all the rules favor the passing game, which scores points, which sells tickets, which increases TV rateing which sell Advtzg...........

the defenses have morphed and adapted by blitzing more and more----we are caught with old time personnell with new rules..........

think about it......db cant touch the wr after 5 yds---what will any sensible def coordtr do.......except reduce the time the db has to cover the wr with blitz paks if his front 4 cant bring it or second cant retain covrg
