I agree with this. I think, however, that Eli may be going through the slump before the breakout. But I know this, if he keeps playing just like he is, he is going to cost his team a big game down the stretch or in the playoffs.

Frankly I was sure KC would beat the Giants. Giants do have a very good defense & they also have Tiki Barber & Eli was adequate at best but that was all they needed. I couldn't believe how awful KC's defense played; how could they miss all those tackles.

Realistically I don't believe we will win the division cause the Giants are in the way. I'd like to say we have the best team in the NFC but the way our defense played KC wasn't good. I think it entirely possible we can go 10-6 by beating the Skins & the Rams but not sure about Carolina. Don't know if 10-6 will be enough to make the playoffs.

Does the KC defense look horrid, or are the Giants MAKING them look horrid? We played the same team last week and beat them because of .. let's be honest .. a fluke miss on a field goal.

And just maybe the KC defense made our struggling offense look good. Like I've said before, Bledsoe only looks good against weak defenses and if we make the playoffs, we won't be facing any of those teams.

Our game went to over time, the Giants finished KC off in regulation time and by ten points,not the skin of their teeth. Yes, our defense is better than theirs, but the Giants can hide Manning behind their running game, we can't hide Bledsoe with ours. I said as much before the season started.

I don't think Eli is going thru a slump. I think he has a tired arm and has hit a wall. Last year he played the equivalent of a college football season. This year he's played a real NFL season and you can see on alot of his passes where his accurancy just isn't there like it was at the beginning of the season. Balls are flying high and receivers are taking bad shots and having to make acrobatic catches.

Eli's fortunate to have a good veteran team around him even w/that makeshift O-line and suspect LB corp. Right now they're winning despite him... Kinda like Chicago is w/Orton.

Not sure how far it would take 'em, tho.

The G'ints look damned good. If they continue to play anywhere near like they did today, we have ZERO chance of catching them. I thought for sure the Chiefs would take them down today.

Really? For one, LJ ripped them a good one even more than he did so to us. And two, those KC receivers have more butterfinger hands you can poke holes through.

They'll likely win the NFC East now, but they're not gonna go far in the playoffs.

Gints didnt look good, KC's defense didnt show up.........at all.
They sucked it up in the passing game as well, thus making them a one-dimensional team, with Larry Johnson.

The KC that shows up vs. DEN, takes this ball game...........easily, unfortuantely KC wasnt ready to play, resulting in the loss.!!!!
