I hate Tyler Perry

I actually really like his movies. There are enough shoot em ups,high tech explosions, car chases, messing around with somebody elses wife-GF out there, that his movies have a pretty good message. I will go to anything he puts on the big screen. I liked the last one with Dakota Flemming and Queen Latifa. Some are defintely better than others, but as much as I go to the movies, (i just counted I have seen 10 of the 17 in the local theatre) but I never walk out of one his movies mad that I spend the money to get in like I do so many others..

The wife likes his movies. I liked one of them, don't remember which one it was but did not care for the other one I saw.

Actually the funniest ones where the plays that were put on DVD that the wife bought. She bought a couple of them and later you seen he used some of them in different parts of different movies.

My wife and I had a big discussion over Perry before going to see Taken. I like one Tyler Perry movie "Why Did I Get Married?" which he is making a sequel to. All the rest of his movies are terrible, poorly acted and his TV shows are terrible too. I think he plays on stereotypes way too much. My wife likes everything he does and says at least he is making money. I think that is a weak reason. Look you can make money but it doesn't mean you make a quality product.

That wasn't a Tyler Perry movie. Just because there's a majority black cast based on a cheesy, crappy and sappy storyline doesn't make it one of his. I can see how you'd get confused, though.

I recently saw a trailer for a movie based off of a T.D. Jakes book that I swore was a Tyler Perry movie.
