If the Cowboys were to win the Super Bowl, I guarantee there will be some worried they won't repeat next year

It's a brutal path, not having a great defense and having the inexperience of a rookie QB.
I completely agree. As good as this team has been this season, it's just a brutal stretch against two red hot teams who's strength matches up against our weakness.

That's how I was the last time when we started 0-2 after Emmitt held out. I was shouting at Jerry through my TV to sign him. He was signed before the next game.

The sad thing is do any of you guys who are pessimists ever even enjoy a win, or as soon as the game is over the worries about next week start for crying out loud enjoy the moment and season.

31 teams go home disappointed every year so odds of you being right are high but give me a break live in the moment for a minute. Believe in your team.

Can we believe....? Can we love our squad and have faith? Isn't that what it's all about? How did you think we'd fair at the beginning of the season after Romo got hurt? Don't answer! One game at a time pimp...

Where in my post did I say not to believe or have faith? You can love your team and still be realistic about their chances. It makes no difference how things looked when Romo went down, we ended up with 13 wins and the #1 seed which has raised expectations. Anything less than a SB appearance will be a huge disappointment due to the great regular season we had.

I also have a bad feeling. I just think that Rodgers is playing to well to be stopped. also I see Prescott looking like a rookie a few times tomorrow. I just think that the packers will score to much early and that will take zeke out of the game and make Prescott throw more then 35 times or more and if that happens the cowboys will not win. if I am wrong I will gladly take my punishment for being wrong.
I feel the same.

Everything you said speaks directly against belief, faith etc.. you're making up scenarios that even involve Brady who's not guaranteed to reach the SB. We have ONE GAME... to deal with.... Is it coincidence that all the chicken little's and scared talk has surfaced directly after Atlanta's impressive showing? Maybe we come out and look like world beaters tomorrow... BELIEF happens before the result... All I'm saying to CZ (not just you) is to relax and stop worrying about scenario's that haven't even presented themselves as of yet. It's weak...

I am at least somewhat at peace knowing that at the very least if we don't win then I still have a rooting interest in Atlanta since they have never won a SB

Definitely do NOT want Pittsburgh to get 7 or New England to become part of the 5 club

The thing to do Debbie, is not to watch.
Now I can guarantee that will not happen. I will be watching from somewhere in College Station since we are helping my daughter get back to A&M tomorrow.for the spring semester (she has too much stuff to bring back in one vehicle :muttley::facepalm:).

Everything I said speaks to keeping things real but you consider that being chicken little scared talk because you're a FAN and in your world that has the Cowboys reaching the SB every year you think they're unbeatable. In reality the odds don't favor us of going all the way because we surprised this season with a rookie 4th round pick at QB. We don't have the defense (pass rush/secondary) at least what we showed during the regular season to get past 3 elite QBs, 2 of which are HOF locks with 5 SB wins between them.

I'm perfectly relaxed and haven't picked the Cowboys to lose tomorrow. I don't have a great feeling about the game but I could see us winning, however it's hard to believe we can get past Rodgers, Ryan and possibly Brady with an average defense and a rookie QB. Nothing I'm saying is weak, it's keeping things real. If some want to be hooping and hollering, beer belching FANS that's fine but that's not me, I'm too much of a realist.
