I have a feeling we will have to wait all day for Sunday Night...

With the Packers losing and their undefeated season gone, the only game that really makes sense for NBC would be the Cowboys at Giants. That game is going to in one way or another decide who is the NFC East champion.

Skins-Eagles playing at the same time, so just move it to 4:15 and I'll be satisfied.

If Dallas beats Philly and NY loses to the Jets, then the last game will mean nothing.

Looking at NFL.com there doesn't seem to be any Sunday night or Monday night games. So no flex that day I guess.

Because there's no way Dallas will beat your Eagles next Saturday, right?

ha, not my Eagles. Sorry, I don't have your faith. I've seen this before so I will defer to that.

No it won't because y'all will lose to the Jets and we'll beat Philly next week.

Your act is extremely transparent.

You're right I've seen this before to. In 2009 we lose 2 in a row and were sitting at 8-5. No one thought we'd even win another game and we won all 3 and destroyed the Eaglee twice in a row. That 2009 Eagles team was much better than this Eagles team.

This was my thought as well. I don't think they run those games in week 17.

Nope, I take it back.... looks like there will be a SNF game. Checked the NBC site.

Looking at the schedule, I see 3 real possibilities.

GB-DET .... but likely this game is meaningless......

KC-DEN .... if Tebow has a chance to get Broncos into the playoffs

DAL-NYG.... clearly would be the biggest ratings bonanza even in the unlikely scenario that the game was meaningless.

I don't get why people say it's unlikely that the Week 17 matchup between the Cowboys and Giants will be meaningless. All we have to do is beat the 6-8 Eagles and for the Jets to beat the Giants. I'd say it's very likely the Cowboys wrap up the division next week.

Fair point. I guess just b/c more than one thing has to happen for the game to be unmeaningful. Only one thing has to happen for it to have meaning. A Giants win.

Cincinnati-Baltimore could have playoff/bye implications as well.

There's a good chance the Lions will need this game, but to determine the last wild card spot - not very sexy.

Denver can clinch this week if they win and Oakland loses. Otherwise, they'll be playing for the division (they can't be eliminated this week). In fact, this could be a winner-takes-the-division game, believe it or not. This game could very well be flexed.

If the NFCE is decided this week :)pray:) and the AFCW isn't, bet on KC-DEN. Otherwise, this one.

Hasn't Dallas already reached it's limit on prime time games, and further, can't Fox protect the game even if they hadn't?

The only Cowboys loss that hasn't been close was the Eagles game, and the Eagles just whipped 2 teams in back-to-back games that gave the Cowboys fits.

Injuries and so forth aside, there are few worse matchups for the Cowboys.
