First and foremost I know we all have a better chance of getting hit by lightning, winning the lottery, and getting laid by the ten most beutiful women in the world than the following. Let's assume the sports world held the super bowl, game 7 of the stanley cup and nba finals, world cup final, national championship of college football and basketball, and all your'e teams were in the championship games. What game would you go to and why? Me, I will take the super bowl in a second. I love the rangers, stars, tigres, and mavs to death but all of them combined do not equal the love I have for the cowboys. What event would you pick and why?

National Championship of college football

I love the NFL, but there's just something about the atmosphere in college football that is undescribeable. The fact that all the players are playing not for money, but for pride and the love of the game.

College football is okay but not on the NFL's level IMO.

Many of those kids at bigger programs are playing for more than just the love of the game. They are playing for a shot at the big time. That's why most "blue chip" players go to bigger programs. Some borderline blue chippers will go as far as to skip out on a bigger school to attend a smaller school because they have a better shot to start early and be a standout. Or maybe they don't like the competition.

I won't even get started on players like Bush who not only take money but accept other "benefits".

I'm not telling you anything new I am sure.

But to say college kids are not playing for money is naive. Not all of them do, that goes without saying.

Now kids at smaller programs do it for things like free tuition and such but I would say you are right and that they would play mostly for the love of the game and for pride…..

The NFL…. what more has to be said?

Every kid that plays football dreams of one day playing in the Big Game. Not the "National Championship of college football" not a High School championship. The Super Bowl ........

I love watching the very best college players from the last 15-20 years battle it out. I like that I can follow a player on my team for 10 sometimes 15 years if I am lucky.

I am a big Michigan Wolverine fan, but I would trade any one of their Championships for another Super Bowl victory and not think twice about it.

15 years ago, I would agree. Now, with the watered down NFL and the fact that no one has any loyalty anymore, it just isnt the same. The NFL is not what it once was.

I've been to three College Football National Championship games over the past few years and, while they're a blast, I can't imagine anything better than being at a Superbowl where the Cowboys are playing.

The one problem with the Superbowl crowd is that there are so many people there who are just there for the game or the experience and NOT for the teams (corporate sponsors, etc) that it waters down the atmosphere. But if the Cowboys were playing, I wouldn't let that get me down. Superbowl all the way!
