After watching the Cowboys turn in their worst performance in the most important game of the year, I had to take a break from football for the last 10 days.

I had no desire to watch the NFC wildcard games. I usually say to myself; "next year blah blah." But I really wonder now what is going on in Dallas.

Roy Williams - Is it me, or does he just look slow? I mean KeyShawn running in sand slow. And he's going to be the future #1 ? I can't believe he was on the team for alot of the year, drew single coverage most of the time and they still couldn't use him effectively?

O-line- Lots of time and money invested here. And they really had problems with certain schemes. The Ravens really exposed the tackles by getting them to chase the end wide and then bringing guys underneath. They looked fat and slow. Losing Kosier really doomed them. I watch other teams pull and move but the Cowboys line seems to get stoned alot at the line. For their size, they don't seem to get alot of movement even when mauling. And please, find a capable backup at guard.

Romo - Looks to me like after his pinky issue, he watched the rush alot, along with sailing deep balls all day. He never played a good game againt a winning team after that.

Running game - Limped into the last third of the season. I know, injuries, and that didn't help, but Barber was only getting around three yards a run before he got hurt. It's one of the few bright spots I see for next year with the depth.

It seems the league has figured this offense out. Way too much skill level talent for this offense to be as defensable as it was.

D-line- Ratliff is a man, But they really need a cast iron anchor. See Tank Williams get shoved 5 yards off the ball on Donovan's QB sneak? He didn't even try to grab turf. He's now on my piece of #$&% list

Get a safety with a little range for crying out loud.

Was there a single game in 2008 that the offense and defense play a great game together?

Wow, I feel better. not.

In short, you are correct.

This team is so freaking jacked up right now it is not even funny.

How did you take the news that Cupcake and Tecmo are coming back for a do-over???

I thought someone other than the spcial teams coach needed to take the fall. I thought Garrett over Wade. At least Wade stepped up when he needed to.

The Roy Williams situation remains one of the most perplexing to me. I know his abilities and production in Detroit were of great debate, but I think we can all agree we thought we were getting someone who could average more than 19 yards per game.

My question is: Is this a scenario were legitimate excuses (Romo's injury, Williams' injury, new offense, etc.) can be made for the lack of production? Or is there someone to blame for the whole mess? Jerry for making a bad trade? Roy for having a bad work ethic? Garrett for not knowing how to get him involved? Romo for not throwing him the ball? All of the above?

When we acquired him, I thought I knew what we were getting. A potential No. 1 wideout who, while not among the game's very best, was in that next class of pretty darn good wideouts. You know, a Pro Bowl caliber type guy. But I'm now left scratching my head, admittedly having no idea what to expect from him moving forward.
