This superbowl has changed football in my mind, let me explain.

I am 20 years old, the first sb i remember is the packers beating the patritots.

I was born in Wisconsin. My dad was a cowboys fan, but only after he made a scrap book in the 70s on how the packers were playing conservative and the cowboys were a rising the franchise. He eventually became a boys fan. So, naturally I became one too.

So what I am trying to say is, I have seen the cowboys win one playoff game in my "lifetime". I used to not be able to sleep when the cowboys lost, that is until I cried my self to sleep.. My parents used to ground me from watching cowboys games, because they knew that is what mattered to me most.

when the giants beat the cowboys in 2007, after we beat them twice by double digits, i became overwhelemed. Anthony henry missed a tackle and crayton quit on one route and dropped a 3rd down conversion that couldve been taken to the house.

I thought I could just be a casual fan after the giants beat us. That game hit me so hard, I thought i shouldnt invest so much time. But the years following had me watching intently the whole year. This year showed so much promise. But instead I watched my fellow wisconsin residents live the dream of the packers winning, while i sat stone face.

All that made me think is, I need a sb. I am a diehard cowboys fan. And regardless of what I think, I cant be a "who care" fans. I am destined to live and die with this team. And I couldnt be happier. Go Cowboys

First off, this explains why you think Mike Holmgren should be our head coach.

Secondly, you have to realize we're in a winter of discontent. Spring will soon come and then the our short dance in the championship sun will be upon us.

Mike Holmgren calmed down Favre and made him a great QB. He also took Seattle to a Sb that they should have one, if the refs weren't so ridiculously favoring the steelers. So Holmgren shouldve been the only coach to win a SB with two different teams.

Also, are you a George rr Martin fan? Winter is coming?

But ya, I cant wait until next season.

Sounds to me like you need to find a DIFFERENT, constructive hobby to keep yourself occupied until the season kicks off again. Then if the season doesn't go right just realize it's just football. If you settle down someday and get married and have kids this stuff won't drive you as crazy, in fact it may not be important to you anymore at that point.

Na. I have hobbies. I do fine.

I guess what I am trying to say is, Im a huge cowboys fan and will die with this team until they win another.

And when they do, I will celebrate at a level previously unheard of.

I wish they'd hurry up and do it before I die. But seriously though that's good, keep on hangin' in there.

Price will be no option. I will dump wheel barrows of currency every where I go. Also, the drugs are better, much better.

When that next Super Bowl does come, enjoy every second of every minute of it. Soak in every television show, every interview and every articles because you never ever know when you'll get back in your lifetime.

Ain't this the truth.

Just winning that one playoff game last year meant a lot to me as a 21 year old.

Man, you and lock&loaded are great. You remind me of me and so many other Cowboy fans my age when we were younger. Wait until that NFC Championship game and the knot you'll have in your stomach that whole weekend. I miss that feeling. In fact, the championship games are to me more nerve racking than the Super Bowls.

The tradition continues, the legacy lives on and the torch is passed. Hang in there. It'll happen.
