i have found why he demolishes runners and takes 12 men to bring him down and why he supplanted Julius as the starter for the cowboys. Ready for his secret?

Its the dreadlocks. look back at his first start of his young career (vs. 'Zona) his weeeeee little baby dreads' were a poppin out and now they are free flowing like a wild forest. There once was another back who was considered great but after a change of heart and teams his dreads went the way of the wind and so did his skills now he just withers a way in the desert.

the dreads make him the barbarian. :D

That reminds me of:

Seduced, shaggy Samson snored.
She scissored short. Sorely shorn,
Soon shackled slave, Samson sighed.
Silently scheming,
Sightlessly seeking
Some savage, spectacular suicide

Nah, it's the HGH.

I love me some Marion Barber. That run against New England was one of the top 5 runs I've ever seen (had he taken it to the house, it would have been the greatest individual effort in the history of the NFL). I am so glad we have him, and he is a joy to watch.

But I can't lie to myself. I hope the guy never gets tested, because he is Shawn Merriman at RB. No one can be that cut and run with that much sheer nastiness.

Please, go back to whatever cave you crawled out of.

Oh, and I am a complete believer in the power of dreads.

Interesting...

Yeah...damn Walter Payton. Guy MUST have been on HGH and roids when he ran like that too.

Geez.

Dude, stop it. He's a violent runner who practically punches guys in the face for a stiff arm. He's not taking elevating D-lineman 10 feet in the air.

And when you look at him physically, he's not that big at all. His style is what makes him affective. Not his size.

I don't want to believe it. I love the guy. He is a great joy to watch. I haven't enjoyed watching a RB run since Barry Sanders retired. He brings excitement.

But I'm sorry. I can't get it past my mind that he is on something. I'm not saying get rid of him; I love watching him. But on the assumption that most pro atheletes are on some things, I think Barber is defintely one of them.

I look at his arms--his forearms, biceps and triceps. I look at how violently he runs. I look at how he pushes people much larger than him around. I look how no one else in the NFL is doing that like him. No one is that much of an animal. It's the classic signs.

I want to believe that he is just special, but my brain tells me to take off my fan goggles and get real. Luckily, I'm good at ignoring my brain. And my project to kill it through a steady infusion of Crown Royal will hopefully get it to shut and let me enjoy MBIII without that thought in my head.

if he was juicing he would have been caught no? and why make a joke thread into something serious? Why so serious?

I think you have confused Marion Barber with Marion Jones. ;)

Which would automatically entail that those pro athletes that Marion Barber are running over also use HGH...

Come on man, he isn't shooting up HGH, it's clearly B-12 shots, sheesh.

you're confusing intensity w/ 'roid rage

dude is a quiet guy off the field, you're not quiet and unassuming on 'roids

i certainly wouldn't be shocked if he was on something. I'm sure a good percentage of the NFL is on some performance enhancing drug. but he better be if we don't draft mcfadden cause i don't see barber making it through a full season with his running style

Could be. I have a theory that nappy dreads reduce the chance of concussion. Think about it. They are like a 15mph bumper on a car. They are designed to compress on impact, effectively reducing the impact velocity by 15mph or so. Same thing with dreads... when he has a helmet to helmet hit, the dreads compress, reducing the rate at which his brain makes contact with the inside of his skull. Thus, less concussions.
Tell Tony to start growing out his hair, STAT!

Interesting theory, Dr. Wimbo. Is that in the same medical books that describes how black people run faster because they have an extra muscle in their legs?

Yes, McFadden is the cure to all the worlds problems. We should fly him out to the middle east so he can bring peace there before training camp starts though.

I always thought it was just because everyone always tries to tackle him high and rarely go for his feet.

This is a joke right?
