For whatever reason everyone is perdicting we are going to get blown out. I have never seen people ride somone's jock as hard as they are Belicheat. They think that he is perfect and cannot be beat. The patriots have no weakness is what everyone says. We can't take away Randy Moss. We can't stop Brady. We cannot do anything against their defense since they will take away all of our players. I guess they think they are going to have to make Romo run the ball, i dunno.

I know our players have been trying to avoid reading and seeing all of this but it is about impossible. They have to be feeding off of it. I get the feeling that they are quietly going about their business come tommarrow. I get the feeling that Dallas is going to take it to New England like they have never felt it. The defense is going to bring the wood and the O is going to come out gunning. I have the suspicion that we win and win big.

The sad thing is we cannot win the game no matter what. What I mean by that is that even if we win by points people are going to say, Dallas got lucky or this was just another game for the Patriots. There are going to be excuses comeing from everywhere in an attempt to minimize the game. I hope that when it does happen, it fuels the guys to play even harder. When we go into the bye week at 7-0 and get back a couple guys who have been dinged up and TG and Tank join the team I think we are going to put everyone on notice.

i'm with ya'. if Dallas wins we obviously arent gonna get all the real credit we will deserve. I just hope that NE has no major injuries in the game. (Brady, Moss, Bruschi) I want to be em with all their ARSENAL.

Does it matter what people say? The games are decided on the field and whatever excuses anyone wants to give for Dallas' success is fine by me.

6-0 will mean 6-0, regardless of how angry it's going to get somebody who wanted it to be otherwise. The petulance is laughable, and by seeing a Cowboy fan laugh at such menial attempts at denigrading success only makes it that much more gratifying.

I live in NJ, surrounded by Giants fans, these people don't stand a snow balls chance in hell of getting me in any way with trash talk. There never existed a bitter Cowboys fan. With our lowest lows have come the highest high's of pro football and there's never any reason for a Cowboy fan to be bitter.

Slapping the Patriots back down to earth will mean a lot; if it happens, no matter how much someone might try to downplay it, quietly they'll know the deal. Let them stew in that along with the memory of the smile on a Cowboys face.

I know what you mean man, I got the same strange feeling about this one too.

We're really being written off, even by the Pats players themselves.

But I feel like we are going to play very hard. As Buffalo came and played their lights out against us, we will play our lights out against New England - it is the same type of game, on another level. Championship level.

I am not as confident of victory, but I am confident of our chances, and that it will be a hell of a game.

If we win then they will start saying that Indi is the real powerhouse they are returning champions and undefeated and blah blah blah dallas is still unproven we haven't beat anyone yet other then N.E. in a trap game and all that good stuff but it will matter to us.

So what? A win is a win, however, don't get real upset yourself if the Cowboys lose, OK? Because 5 - 1 is not bad at this point in the season...

I have kind of the same feeling. I don't know that we'll win, but anytime a GOOD team is such a big underdog at home, that's a big red flag.

There's definitely the sense that they're going to waltz in here and slap us down, but I think the Pats are in for a big surprise. I think this is going to be an extremely physical game the likes of which they haven't seen for a while. Our crowd and our players are going to be seriously jacked up, and I think there are going to be some huge hits out there. Plus, I don't think we'll play scared like so many of their opponents seem to do.

And you know what, we have some talent on this team.

Even if they win, I think they're going to go home extremely sore and with a respect for us they didn't have before.

The Pats haven't won the SB in the last couple years. They were beat by Carolina, San Diego, Indy, KC, Miami and Denver TWICE in 2005. In 2006 they were beat by Denver, Jets, Miami and Indy TWICE. They have beaten the 1-4 Jets, 2-3 Chargers, 1-4 Bills, 1-3 Bungles and the 2-3 Browns yet people look back to their championships as a reason why they are unbeatable. Well guess what, in the last 2 years they have been VERY beatable. They still have road games against Dallas, Miami(who they can't seem to sweep in the last several years) Indy, Baltimore and the Giants. They get the Skins, Eagles and Ravens at home. They will drop 3 or 4 of those games before it's all said and done. And until they can win a SB again they are just another of the 31 teams who ISN'T a championship team.

Another thing that has been eating me is the Brady is good but he is not Manning good and there is no way the Pats are as good as the Indy Offense. We took it to indy last year I know we can take it to the Pats. I would take Harrison, Wayne and Addai over Moss Stalworth and Maroney hands down. The Colts O line is much better than NE's.

People are forgetting that riding the wave of emotion is also a HUGE intangible.

That's what I see with these Dallas player and coaches tomorrow-with the entire national and local sports media really sticking alot of hatred toward them(even our good friend Mick SPAGS is picking the Pats), it'll only light a fire under everyone's tails.

I think the Cowboys match up very well with the Pats. Even game in my mind. I think the Pats on Defense are not going to be able to stand up to the pounding of the OL and such all game....they are mostly undersized and flat out old.

Even without Seymour, their DL is actually pretty dog-gone good, with Vince Wilfork controlling the middle. Jarvis Green ain't no slouch either.

Wilfork is good for sure. This is a classic battle of big OL vs shifty front 7. I dont think they can take the pounding of this OL all day. They will make plays no doubt but think what Davis can do if he gets a good release into their ILB'ers 20-30 times :D

I am feeling the same vibe in my gut as well.

It should make for a fun and stressful Sunday afternoon?

Man, I'm not sure I can take another stressful game like Monday night's. I'll take a Cowboys blowout, thank you very much. :D

He might have played terribly against the Bills, but with Romo at the helm, I ALWAYS feel like we have a chance. I must say, it is good to feel that way again.

agreed.

you probably won't believe this - but after i left work last Monday night, i started to get a very uneasy feeling about the game... when i turned on espn and saw that it was like a Super Bowl type atmosphere in Buffalo - something just didn't feel right to me.

as it turned out - those uneasy feelings were justified, coincidental or not.

i feel a lot differently this week. i've purposely avoided espn/nfl network b/c of all of the Tapriots manlove and Dallas hate. i just chose not to partake in all of the nonsense.

everyone has written us off as pretenders in a soft conference. we haven't played anyone. (as if the Tapriots have... ) our qb is mistake prone. (isn't a qb allowed 1 bad game?) we haven't been there, etc. etc. - i'm sure you have heard all of the same excuses.

i don't buy any of that nonsense. we are at home. we are young. we are relatively healthy. we are on the come. and - b/c we are not "supposed" to win, the pressure is on them in my book.

hey, i feel very confident about tomorrow's game. i think that they are going to find that we are much better than some of the other teams that they have played this year.

let's see how the media spins this one if we do in fact ice them.

The same thing applied to my girlfriends back in the day. But it didn't go to my head....

On a more serious note, I don't have the same martyr complex if we beat the Patriots that there will be excuses. From an accomplishment standpoint the Patriots should prevail. From an upcoming Cowboys team perspective we can potentially beat any one any given game. We are at home, after coming back from the dead in Buffalo. We have experienced coaches on our side who have beat the Patriots. The crowd will be in a frenzy. The players will be amped up for this game - therefore we could win.

However if we play highly competitively in a loss I will be comforted because it means we truly can hang with an elite team besides the Colts.
