I just hope the quality doesn't degrade with the new ownership.
I read an interesting article when that went down about the research they did before making the offer. There was only one fast food chain, Chick-Fil-A, that scored higher with their P1's (the real heavy users of the product) and the new ownership was quick to let all know this was a buy for expansion, not change.
I know some Whataburger devotees and they love them some Whataburger but nothing like the people who are in the Chick-Fil-A cult. I think if Chick-Fil-A's shut down, we'd have revolts in the streets and mass suicides. I think they are OK but I will say they know how to run a fast food operation better than anyone in the business. They have one hell of a training program and adherence to consistency.
