This breaks my heart. For the life of me I cannot imagine what was going through her head.

Her little angel just wanted a mommie.

There are no words.

Nope, there isn't. No words. Furious doesn't touch it.

Evil is gender neutral....So is the swift boot of justice.
Let us not fool ourselves, evil comes in any shape imaginable...tries to disguise itself in manners we can hardly identify it,but it is there.

If women knew the true power they have, men would be curled up in the corner crying.

If she knows she doesn't want to care for the child, she is doing the right thing by handing the child over.

We-elllll.... I think punching him in the stomach and packing probably isn't the best way to part company in any relationship, let alone mother and child.

She's only doing 'the right thing' because he called the cops on her.

Seems like she is did it on purpose. Staged an assault in front of cops, saying the things she is saying. I mean, she doesn’t have to go to Cali to strip. Sounds kindof like a plea for help.

No doubt she is giving the image of a terrible mother, but not once in this thread have i seen anyone mention the father of the boys. Funny how the father is always off the hook but the mother isnt. Many single mothers go through tremendous stress. Sounds like she had a mental breakdown.

That law was supposed to be for newborns up to three days old only. There was a huge hole in the wording that didn't define the term "child."

Yeah, a few years ago Japan implemented something like this "Baby Drop Off Box" and I remember reading an article on japantoday.com saying the first day this program started, somebody dropped off preschooler.

Surprise mom tells PD she no longer wants her kids
Associated Press

SURPRISE, Ariz. (AP) — Surprise police officers arrested a 29-year-old woman after she reportedly told police she didn't want her children any longer.

Police say they received a 911 call Friday from an 11-year-old boy who said his mother was packing and moving to California and wasn't taking him or his 6-year-old brother with her.

Police spokesman Sgt. Mark Ortega, the boy's mother, Christina Muniz (MYOO'-neez), came out and told officers that she was "sick of her children" and wanted the police to take them so she can "have fun and play."

Muniz was arrested and charged with child neglect, aggravated assault, disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia.

During a court appearance Tuesday, Muniz told a magistrate it "was a big misunderstanding."

Bond was set at $20,000 and Muniz was ordered not to have any contact with her children unless it's supervised by the state.

You'd be surprised how much stuff like this happens and how many scummy people are out there. It reminds me of my mother-in-law, who is a totally classless person.

I share the same sentiments with the OP for that mother and the old MIL.

Unfortunately, she got what she wanted as the kids will no longer be with her; thank god. I deal with this on a daily basis. Kids do not want material things but their parents to spend time with them. It was like that Georgia mother who sent back the 7 year old from Russia. People don't know the trauma that is put on kids when their parents don't want them. Classic case of Reactive Attachment Disorder usually comes into play.
