Fans on this board have been saying this all along and if Parcells is willing then I am CERTAIN that the Cowboys will begin dominating teams.

The answer is: Parcells MUST open up the playbook and let the offense ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK. If Parcells can lose his conservative ways then it won't matter how many mistakes rookies make or how many long TD receptions the defense is giving up because this offense has the ability to rock any defense back on its heels and score at will. The games against San Diego and San Francisco are perfect examples. Parcells can't wait until we're far behind before he opens up the playbook. The Cowboys must be much more aggressive and take it to the defense. The offense is the one stopping themselves on drives.

Last year Parcells opened up the play book, and he has said that he regrets doing that.

But this year, he has a QB.

And more receiving threats, a healthy Key and Glenn, in addition to Crayton. All he had last year was Witten.

My answer is this:
un-emasculate the players....(let them play to their strengths)
and GROZ & Payton.

You might as well because it ain't gonna happen. However, if in some fit of madness he did lose some of his conservative ways it would help our team win games IMO. I blame our coaching and particularly our offensive play calling for our loss to the Raiders.

Zimmer and Payton are not the problem...Parcells is. The defense has played well considering the crap that the offense has given the opposition. Yes the two big plays against the defense in the Washington game killed us but had the Offense scored when they had the chance it would not have mattered. Payton is calling the plays that he thinks Parcells will let him get away with; he is not calling his own game so I don't blame him. Parcells has got to start coaching as if we are in the 21st century.
