I have to say Hunt didn't impress me today; Zeke is a lot tougher

Zeke is a far more powerful running back than Hunt.

He is the more complete all around player.

However, The premise of the thread is rather silly.

And a single game isn't indicative of how Hunt has played all year, yet we have a thread started with someone saying he didn't impress today...

Hunt is considered by many to have taken the Chiefs offense to the next level. Both Smith and Hunt have been brought up in MVP talks.

Both Hunt and Zeke are good backs and Hunt has been on a tear whether it's on the ground or through the air.

Agreed. The single game in question is against the cowboys tho, it’s naturally going to be the focal point of our fan base. The bottom line is zeke outplayed him and is only marginally behind him for the league lead in rushing despite a game less played. Hunt is amazing (thus far ) but there’s no reason to defend him in this scenario, let alone against our guy, on our board.

Now wait a minute......Hunt wasn't terrible. He was a product of his team not giving him touches. 9 carries?
You always have to look at both sides. The Chiefs were out coached.

and it was very obvious in the game today. Hunt got sandwiched by Lee and Hitchens with 2 min. to go in the 2nd qtr. and he disappeared the rest of the game. Zeke was in full beast mode. Just unreal.

Zeke is a truly special RB
There were multiple runs where he got 3-5 yes when there was nothing available
I don't think Hunt did that even once yesterday

Hunt is an excellent running back. Give our defense credit.

Hunt is a great running back. He breaks a ridiculous amount of tackles.

It’s nt his fault his o-line is extremely average and Andy Reid has refused to give him the ball the last few weeks.

Maybe that’s why they are losing?????

If Zeke plays next week then he should be the leading rusher in the NFL. As of now he is 2nd with 17 yds behind Hunt who has a bye next week. Even with the crappy game in Denver, it is impressive Zeke climbed his way back to the top.

One is elite and the other is very good especially when he gets more than 9 touches a game. Either way trying to compare a clydesdale to a donkey.

:muttley:

I really love this post. Enough that my wife got annoyed with me.

“Who are you talking to? What’s so funny?”

Lol, Calpoly, who I believe I actually enjoy as a poster but was giving hell to another poster who was obviously enthusiastic after the game and wanted to point out that Hunt is no Zeke. Which is correct, just like Watson isnt Dak. Both are great and could be better but as of now they havent earned it yet. Yes I am blatant homer, thats why Im here lol.

Hunt is a stud.

But Zeke is elite. Man that guy makes a 5 yard run look awesome!

they are both great backs. Zeke has head and shoulders the better QB and Oline to run behind. Big big advantage. Switch up the two players on the teams and Hunt would be leading the NFL in rushing. I would probably still take Zeke, however.

But I would take Hunt where they drafted him over Zeke where we drafted him. If that makes any sense.

That was me quoting my wife asking why I was on my phone and laughing so hard
