Is probably the most complete unit in the NFL. Great Job Coach Joe...

What a complete turnaround from DiSgracen's efforts from last season.

The team as a whole is playing some inspired football right now, but the ST's unit are really giving us a lift before and after each possesion. Putting the right people in the right spot, getting contributions from young pups, and coaching up the kickers as well. Good directional kicking and coverage...

Just an awesome awesome job so far this season all the way around.

We were playing one of the best in the business today in Bruce DeHaven or at least that was what the announcers said.......

I am just glad Coach Joe has a good hair cut. If your coach can't even get a nice do on top then how can you trust him to run the special teams.

Watkins and Ball are playing some outstanding gunner on punts right now, and Victor Butler is absolutely laying the wood on kickoff returns.

Joe D. :worthy:

I'm so glad for Coach D. He deserves sucess after all he's been through. He was soooo happy after Crayton's TD today. Buehler, McBriar, Folk, Crayton, Watkins, Ball, Butler. Lots of guys stepping up on special teams. It's a complete turnaround and I love it.

He's the first Cowboy to do that since Bob Hayes in 1968. And he now leads the league in yards per return.

DeHaven wasn't the ST coach last year, Bruce Read was. DeHaven is one of the best ST coach's in the league. A bit of a different philosophy and scheme than DeCamillis, but still a good ST coach. We had pretty good ST while DeHaven was here, outside of a terrible holder and poor placekickers, which were mostly Parcells' decisions.

I noticed Danny Amendola had three punt returns today for 9 yards. Not to call him out because he is still very new to the NFL game. He was just the example of who would be a better return man since Crayton was struggling just a couple of weeks ago.

I am so glad that we slighted Crayton and took away both of his duties.....since then, he has been an animal.

Remember a few years ago, when all of us used to cross our fingers, while holding a horseshoe and throwing salt over our shoulders, during every STs play............just cause we were so darn bad.

I love the feeling of calmness and excitement over our STs instead of utter fear.

Thank you Coach D and our GM for drafting quality ST players.

great posts guys, not much else to be said; except Joe D is SPECIAL: anyone here ever had neck problems? I have had minor issues: NOTHING compared to what Coach D' has gone through and I was miserable: everything I did hurt: can't eat, sleep, work, get busy with your wife: I'm telling you it was brutal. This guy is in pain gents and he keeps grinding: can't tell you how much I admire him. He's a stud.

our Special Teams went from short bus special ed to Especially potent in just one offseason. Coach D, needs a new contract at the end of the year. Give him a nice long extension. I want him in Dallas for at least the next 5-10 years.

Since becoming 3rd WR, Crayton has fresher legs for punt return duties. Whatever it is, keep it up Crayton!!
