I have Aaron Rodgers and Greg Jennings on my fantasy team and, with Sunday Ticket and 3 TVs, I haven't missed any of their games.

Here's the breakdown on Green Bay-

Aaron Rodgers is good. Very good. The only knock on this kid is that he occasionally holds the ball a little too long and ends up on the ground, ball-in-hand (a la Ben Roethlisberger). Aside from that, he is nice. He has an absolute rocket for an arm and makes a lot of big plays with his legs. He leads all QBs in rushing and is the #1 fantasy QB because he makes big throws, alot of them, and little mistakes.

The receivers are very capable. Donald Driver is on absolute fire and James Jones has stepped up bigtime in the wake of many injuries they have suffered at the receiving position. Jordy Nelson is out for the season and their up-and-coming playmaker Jermichael Finley (think Kellen Winslow) is hurt as well. Greg Jennings has been up and down all season, probably due primarily to the extra attention he gets, but he's due to break out here in the 2nd half. And Jennings is the kind of player who can make a big play at any given time.

The run game has been solid but Dallas should have no problem with Grant. He is the last of a dying breed of feature backs and isn't very fast or shifty. They have run blocked well but without maintaining a lead, their run game is ineffective.

Their O-Line is dispicable in pass protection. Rodgers is under fire on every play and they have given up more sacks than anyone. Their line has been decimated by injuries all season and is very porous.

The defense is good against the run. They have switched to a 3-4 which has done a good job of containing the run but hasn't been too effective in getting after the QB. The switch negated Kampman's ability as a premier pass rusher (he switched from DE to OLB) and he is injured at the moment anyhow. The interior of the line plays well. They play alot like Dallas did shortly after our switch to the 3-4.
The secondary goes for the ball so they make big plays with turnovers but are succeptible to giving them up as well.

Conclusion-

The run will be easy to stop but they may contain ours as well. The game will be won by the better defense, especially against the pass. Do not let Rodgers make plays with his legs (especially late in the game) and keep those receivers covered against the big play with deep safeties. Romo must protect the football and make smart passes only.

Interesting, I've only seen them a few times (Vikes (2) and TB). They look susceptible to a decent pass rush, but Rogers is very scary when he has time. Not to worry, Carpenter our ascendant pro-bowler, will contain this mobile QB if he should dare leave the pocket on passing downs.

This post is scary accurate. We cant afford to take Greenbay lightly or Rogers will hang 30 points on us in a heartbeat. Having said that...we prevail in this one.

The complaints out of Green bay are on the defensive side of the ball. Some players feel the 3-4 they're running is to passive. They have 2 corners that can man up on the outside and they want to bring more heat. Dom Capers is usaully a guy who attacks. Packer players were furious after the Vikings game that they sat back and allowed farve to carve them up especially on 3rd downs.

I'm going to try and listen to sportstalk up in Green bay later this week to get a pulse of the fans. I know after the Vikings game negativity was at an all time high. I'm sure it was worse after they lost to tampa. That's why I'm a litte guarded about this game . If green bay has any playoff hopes they have to win this game.

Jordy Nelson is NOT out for the year. He may be back this week or if not next week. Kampman may be out against Dallas because of a concussion. Tauscher is out again and the team will play a new five on the line again this week. McCarthy is under fire and deservedly so. Against tampas worse run defense in the league, MM decided to pass, pass, pass, in winds that were gusting up to 30mph. Not real smart.

DAllas should get a ton of sacks. I think the o-lines confidence is now shot and I don't know if they can get it back. I doubt it. If the Packers can not get pressure on Josh Freeman, then I doubt they touch Romo. He should have all day to throw just like Favre did. For some reason, Capers does not blitz that much. For all the hype about the defense being a pressure defense, they rarely do it. I don't know if it is personel or what.

I think it will be close only because of the horrible game last week and that usually means a team will play a lot better the next but in the end I think the Cowboys will prevail.

my bad. Jordy Nelson isn't out for the year. But he doesn't look likely to play this week.

Also, they added Ahman Green last week and trying to get him involved as the 3rd down back. I see his touches increasing here and there though because Grant has been a closer and nothing more for them.

The problem guys are Rodgers, Jennings, Driver and J. Jones. Keep these players covered and force them to run the ball and we will be victorious. Our basic QB pressure should get the job done with Ware and Ratliff w/o having to get cute on blitzes.

I think Anthony Spencer finally gets one, maybe two?, this game.

If we play defense like we did against Philly and don't turn the ball over--we win by 13

Jermichael Finley (knee) said that he's "50/50" to play against the Cowboys on Sunday.

Finley tested his knee again Monday and didn't feel pain, but said the doctors are being cautious with him. He hasn't played since Oct. 25 and seemed to express some frustration with his recovery. "Green Bay is, like, real cautious about when you get hurt," Finley said. "In one weekend, you can turn into four weeks." Consider Finley a game-time decision this week.

Finley is someone to watch. If he plays, he could be a secret weapon for GB that the defense would not see coming. This guy has some real ability and is capable of being what most thought (or still hope) Martellus Bennett will become.
Here's a tip... get him on your fantasy team if you need a TE when he returns to full time play.
