I had predicted Washingtton by 38-3. Ha, ha. I really think we got lucky there, those two TDs.
But what happened Monday night may augur well for Dallas. Of course as they say in the mutual fund industry, past performance is not any indicator of the future.
In 1992, the game in RFK, you blew I think a 17 point lead and lost, you made it to the SB, and won. That's the game after which Jimma is supposed to have got drunk on Heinekens on the plane back and cursed out the whole lot. (Maybe that's what's needed.)
In 1993, lost Monday night at RFK. No Emmitt who was holding out. You made it to the SB. And won.
In 1995, you lost both regular season games to Washington, and made it to the SB and won. (That's certainly needed, please lose at Fed Ex field this year!)
In 1997, as coach of the NE Patriots, Bill P. lost to Norv Turner's Washington Commanders. Parcells made it to the SB. He lost though.
Come on, Cowboys fans. Keep your chins up. Things will get better.
