Did ya'll see how NFL Total Access was propping Merriman up as the Poster Boy for how to take steroids the "right way"? The double standards in sports reporting is unbelievable.

merriman has listed three different dates for when he found out he failed the test. The more hhe talks the less I believe a word he says.

I just about got sick the other day listening to Shaun Salisbury on ESPN. When discussing Merriman, he referred to him as "a kid who made a mistake...and take it from me, it was a mistake". Hello???? We're not in Kansas anymore Dorothy.

The double standard in the media is truly laughable. How in the world does Salisbury know it was a mistake. Take it from me, when you use a steroidal substance, you know. Because of a medical condition, I have to rub a tube of Androgel on my body once a day. Although I don't put my body through gruling exercise due to a spinal defect, my muscles still show the results of the Androgel. (I have to admit that I love the feeling of legally growing my muscles.) I can't imagine how big & strong they could get if I was in my early 20s and a great athlete.

That's why I know without a doubt that Merriman knew he was taking something illegal. No legal substance can do what a steroid can.

That is also why I believe all of his sacks he's accumulated so far should be eliminated. It would be a great example to others & I guarantee you he doesn't do it again. Contracts are built on such things as sacks. You take away his money & stats, you hit him where it hurts.

Mistake my ***.

He's been giving away hints since his college and possibly high school days. He was just caught a little late.

That show should be rated TV-M, for all of the a** kissing and **** pulling that Woodson and Faulk perform when Merriman is on...which is all too often. I can't believe how badly the NFLN bows down to this guy.

I know...lets invite Pacman Jones on next week to explain how to properly degrade women!

Cogan I completely agree. Berman on MNF pregame declared MErriman one of his top 5 performances, or whatever he does. Really Berman? The kid who cheats and got three sacks against a team that gives up a ton in the first place is a top eprformer?

Conversely, Pedro Gomez should have a restraining order slapped on him for being Barry Bonds personal stalker.

Bonds needs a home run dance that looks like a seizure. I'm ridiculously upset about the whole situation. I really think the NFL hushes the networks, and because they are the biggest, brightest and most powerful, and making EVERYONE money (all the networks) it is shushed. Disgraceful.
