If the Cowboys lose to the Saints tonight, that will be the 6th consecutive home loss for Dallas (including the preseason).

Green Bay
Philly
Ravens
Broncos
SF
NO

How the hell do you lose 6 straight home games, even if 2 of them are preseason? We seriously have the worst home field in the entire NFL, aint nobody scared to play at JerryWorld.

You would think this team would show a little pride and stop getting punked at home every week, tonight would be a good time to start.

Didn't the Eagles lose 8 or so real home games in a row (no preseason) in the past couple years?

They went from September 30, 2012 until November 17, 2013 without winning a real home game.

Edit: That is 10 straight home game losses.

Well it's not like they were losing to the likes of Jacksonville or Oakland. An 8-8 team would lose to most of those teams more often than not

And people wonder why the crowd is so tame at our home games

I think you are on to something.....................this could explain a lot when it comes to opposing fans taking over our stadium because the folks would rather sell their tickets and make some money when they think the team will just lose anyways.

I think that is what cost Andy Reid his job........................you cant lose at home every week in the NFL and keep your job.

Preseason don't count. I wouldn't count a winning streak on the road that included pre-season games.

Dallas beats sub .500 teams at home (and away, too). That's basically been their lifeblood. Here's to hoping that trend continues tonight!

LOL at including preseason to exaggerate the statistic. We were 5-3 at home last year, which is about right for a .500 ball club. Far from "getting punked at home every week". Get a grip.

That kinda is the definition of "6 consecutive".....................didn't realize I had to explain that.

Why would the preseason be included? That's idiotic.

I think the person on TV was making the point of 6 consecutive home games, regardless of type of game.

If you want to exclude preseason, then it would be 4 consecutive regular season games lost if we lose tonight.............................still pretty bad to lose 4 straight home games in the NFL.

Several people in this thread have already called out the ridiculousness of including preseason in that stat. It's idiotic.

Thx for bringing some sanity to this thread.

Still bad, yes, but not as horrible as 6. And the type of game very much matters. Including exhibitions is absurd.

I didn't make the stat up, just passing along what the person on TV said, that is why I put in the title "I heard an interesting stat".

Yes, I think we all realize that it would be 4 regular season games in a row dating back to last year..
