And Austin can be Romo's Alvin Harper this year...

I am not expecting much from Stanback at all this year. This is essentially his rookie season. I look at last season as a you would a redshirt freshman. He wasn't able to participate in training camp last year because of injuries and had to get in where he fit in once the season started. He is getting one on one WR training from the coaches for the first time.CrazyCowboy;2150122 said:thanks for the recap.....good stuff......disappointed just a little on the Stanback front.

We didn't hear any good things from the off season stuff.
I'm begining to think Stanback might be lacking mentally a little.

People in here talk like he is Bob Hayes.
He runs a 4.5.

He runs a 4.5.
Some of the draft places had him as 4.47, including Kiper.tomson75;2150654 said:He ran a 4.51 at the combine IIRC....but seems faster than that with pads on.

I wouldn't expect much from him this year. Special teams at most.

Given that he still seems to be such a work-in-progress as a receiver I don't see how the team could have the luxury of having him on the gameday roster.
But, like many other situations, we'll have to see how this plays out during training camp.
I think I see more questions at the receiver positions than most others do.
Maybe it's just me.
