They score one touchdown. the rest are field goals. miles austin hands them the ball. the offense hands them the ball. the defense has no pride because the offense didn't show up either.

Finally someone understand what i'm seeing. Neither played well, but the defense only gave up 3 pointers for a while why the offense gave up 7. Well Merry Christmas to all. Im out. I think we have to wait till next season to get somethin good out of both sides of the team.

How many drives did our offense have? It was a joke even when the game was in reach. A WHOLE quarte to play, and they were down by 9. Tell me how this tell's the offense to hand over the ball carelessly

First, we have FIVE offensive drives total in the first three quarters and eagles had scored every drive except the inteception. We could not stop their offense at all.

Second, out of the five drives, NONE was a three-and-out. It was not like our offense totally stunk it up (one TD, one should-be touch downs).

When your defense could not stop them at all and you are losing by nine points, it becomes a game of shootouts and this is why our offense handed over the ball "careless".

Let me spell it out to you. Our defense came out from the starting bell with bullfighting capes waving in the wind.

In every phase of the game we stunk up the joint today. However, Our defense put in a very lackluster performance despite a few stops late in the game.

The lack of preparation and game management on defense was evident early. That first half was a killer. although we were down only 7-13 we had gotten spanked on defense and the Eagles were getting the ball going into the 2nd half.

Blame whoever you want but the major blame falls on the defensive side of the ball. I'm done. Feel free to continue making excuses for Zimmer.

Personally, all of you must be blind. Yes, the defense played like crap, but the offense fared no better. We held them to 13 points in the first half and the offense could not score any more than 7 points? Both are equally to blame, but more blame should be shouldered by the coaching staff for not having any unit of this team ready to play.

Sometimes, points are not the whole story. Yes, they only scored 13 points but they used almost all the clock. We only had three drives in the whole first half as well.

As I said, none of our offensive drives was three-and-out in first three quarters. Eagles did not punt until the end of third quarter.

The team as a whole is to blame

The D that wasn't there

The ST that gave the ball away

And the offense that put up a whopping 7 pts

And special mention to both the lines that got manhandled all night.:bang2:

Philly's four possessions before the half:

1st Q, POSS 7:12, 13 plays, 89 yards, TD
1st Q, POSS 1:37, 3 plays, 6 yards, INT
2nd Q, POSS 7:36, 12 plays, 89 yards, FG
2nd Q, POSS 0:36, 6 plays, 38 yards, FG

Other than Henry's INT, Philly got points on every drive. That's not exactly great D.

Don't get me wrong, the offense didn't do any better, but to put this all on the O is pretty . This loss is on coaching, the O, the D, and probably Rowdy too.
