I am in the same camp, I don't really care if they win or lose. I missed most of the game. Saw that it was going to overtime.
Took the daughter shopping (more important than staying to watch the overtime) and heard that Dallas had lost the game
on the radio Life is too short to be concerned about things you can't control..

Yep, in the grand scheme of things this is just entertainment and it really doesn't matter that much if the Cowboys win or lose.

Life will go on just like it has for the past 30 years since our last ring.

I honestly don't care about the Noah brown int. The first int completely shifted the momentum of the game and that was completely on Dak. Dak has been consistently having game changing ints where we are in control and on the verge of cruising towards a win. These ints typically put the opponent on short fields and they typically score. I definitely agree though that the Defense didn't help much today and should be disgusted overall with their play. It was a team loss.

I have been fortunate with the two Super Bowls in the 90s. At one point, I was super vested and emotional about the Cowboys.

I still watch but I’m able to separate what happens with the team apart from my personal life and remind myself that this is for entertainment.

Realistically this season is going to end similar to how today did.

We all know it.

Our 81 year old GM thinks a gimpy diva WR changes all that.

That's the problem. Eagles were struggling with their run defense so they signed 2 FAs to help stop the run. We struggle with run defense and we chase a diva WR coming off 2 ACL injuries. The team that worked on their weakness has won a Super Bowl in the recent past and is looking like the best team in the NFL. The team that chases a jersey seller and media attention hasn't won a Super Bowl since '95.

In October the Eagles signed DTs to help their defense while we started courting OBJ and did nothing to improve our roster. One team is dominating and the other team is regressing. Not a coincidence.

I think the question is who is Dan Quinn. The idea that he’s not a good defensive coordinator is not true IMO. Something happened to the defensive line in the last few games is it Hankins

They overachieved (especially with Rush) and we got excited only for them to revert to the team we thought they would be after a horrible Free Agency off-season. The lack of talented players at CB and LB is holding this defense back (I have Micah at DE) and they did nothing to really address this, their player evaluations were terrible in this area.

a couple more years, everyone but the extreme homers will be at this level. Garrett was the beginning and the end for me. Then the dak debacle is the finisher. let's invest 3 more years in this crap. Jerry loves you.

Good point. I agree that we have massively overachieved. Preseason I predicted 7 or 8 wins. After week 1 debacle I predicted 1 or 2 wins. I wasn't trying to be negative, that's just honestly how I felt this team was capable of. So on the positive side they overachieved and gave me some fun games to watch. On the negative side they did enough to sucker me back into caring.

But you're right. Going into the season I don't remember a lot of positive predictions how many games we'd win.
