Raiders we're running all over 49ers defense. They couldn't slow down Jacobs(Raid RB)
Stidham was dotting SF secondary all day. 3 TD's 365 yds. But threw 2 picks.
He gave SF fits all day long. Davante Adams had over 150 yds that game.
It was Raiders D, that eventually wore out, but still hung in there till end. Lost in OT by FG

Sea was almost same way. They had the lead going into 3rd qtr.
Only mentally folded after Geno fumbled in Red Zone.
Sea defense, just went AWOL after that. It was kind of bizarre.

..my inclination from all this.

Is win the physical battle from the very beginning.
Get the lead and make them tailgate for it.
Purdy is a panic ROOK. If he senses pressure he takes off running.
Similar to Jones of NYG.
Probably best to spy him, with someone with speed.

THey can be run on and passed on. KM is the poison.

The indications are SF is a physical team with good OL and very good DL, they beat up the opponents and the opponents wear down by 4th quarter.

So we should match the physicality and run up some scores , make them catch up , so they will abandon run and has to put the game in Brody’s hand. That will be path to victory

seattle needed a strong offensive game, given their defense sucked..... that fumble by Geno Smith, just took the wind out of them and then it snow balled.

I have a friend who is a big niners fan and he's pessimistic about their chances because their defense is a bit over rated compared to the talent they've had to face. The Chargers aren't exactly world beaters and Miami has had some stinkers, but they had bad losses to the Bears, Falcons, Chiefs amongst others. But those were also with different qbs so its hard to gauge.

I'm glad we played SF last year so the team has an idea what to expect, toughness wise.

3 of the starters on that Dline are over 30, 2 are 35. Think they got gassed!

Well normally he would, but he has to prep for that Denver interview, so we are just gonna wing it this week. No big deal.
