I am extremely excited to see Ezeiruaku (he needs a nickname) in camp and preseason. All the scouting reports say he is a very polished pass rusher already.

Yes. The 30 second rounders are each concerned with their deals. The 32 owners have to consider these 2nd rounders, subsequent year’s 2nd rounders, and they give in here, 3rds and 4ths are sure to follow suit in the future.

i can't recall .the last time Mr. " Deadline makes Deals " Jerry allowed a high pick draftee to miss camp ... it may at the least be two days ..
but smilin' Jerry always seem to manage to get these rookies in for camp ..

Becuz of that, ..i'm not fretting rookie hold outs in Cowboys camp ...

These guys have the right to hold out. They all have different agents, they’re negotiating with different teams, that two 2nd rounders received guaranteed deals does not mean the other teams must follow suit.

Cowboys fans know full well every team does not handle contract negotiations in the same manner. Collusion, in the legal sense, is not happening. If any of these second rounders go the season unsigned it’s a year they’ll never get back. And they’ll be competing with a load of new draftees next year. Some may not be 2nd rounders again. Or perhaps drafted again. NFL owners have long memories.

The problem is that two teams gave their second round picks guaranteed contracts and that has never been done before for that round. The other teams do not want to set that precedent.
