I think he cleverly used that as part of his schtick or if you will shtik. It's gimme's gimmick. I think he needs to change his moniker to gimmedaball though. He occasionally posts without the schtick and comes across well with the appearance of being an educated bloke. If it makes him happy then by all means.

Hey, Chappy. Be on the lookout for a nice cat about 14-16 meters with daggerboards and decent cabins. You guys build some nice boats. Been drooling over some for awhile. Not one of those really really fast ones but fast and a good cruiser/liveaboard.
