I hope we continue to blitz for the rest of the season

Something's not right with Rodgers this year. It'll be interesting to see how effectively we might blitz him. Normally, it'd be crazy to do, but I think we'll test him and see how effective he'll be with it early.

I just wish I could convince myself there was a way we could actually score. I'll settle for not turning the ball over 3+ times and playing more good defense if I have to, but, man, it would be nice if we could score or, you know, throw the ball to the open guy every now and then.

reminds you of those 5-11 years.. no offense

It sure was great to see.
But Rodgers may kill us on the blitzes next week. Even without Nelson. Rodgers has a quick release, and can move better.
But the key is pressure as usual. This time we do have a better pass rush to get to him.

Even though Rodgers is good at getting rid of the ball, we still need to blitz.

I would normally agree with that but from watching Green Bay this season their receivers haven't been getting open which has caused some uncharacteristic mistakes by Rodgers. He's been having to hold onto the ball which has resulted in 29 sacks and some forced throws. The teams that have beaten the Packers got heavy pressure on Rodgers.

The Cowboys only chance on Sunday is to pressure him and they may have to blitz to do it. In the playoffs last season a limping Rodgers carved the defense up in the second half. We couldn't get to him and If you allow him to sit back he'll shred you so if our front four isn't able to get to him we're going to have to blitz him. We're in desperation mode we have to pull out all stops.

Rogers has been good this year but not great. Not sure what the issue is. Whether it was losing Nelson, Lacy not performing, pathetic TE play, or Olivia Ono or Yoko Munn. The pass before the Hail Mary last week was a perfect example. Abrederris was running free down the sideline and Rodgers underthrows him. Then he throws a rainbow pass into a bucket from 65 yards away for the winner. If he makes the first pass, a throw that Rodgers makes in his sleep then nobody is complaining about facemask or poor detroit defense. Rodgers just has not been consistent this year. If Directv Rodgers shows up then he carries the Packers to an easy victory. If Cable Rodgers shows up, then it will come down to the end with either team being able to win at the end.

I love the pressure we put on Cousins last night and Sean Lee, man what a player.
we have to cut down on the turnovers and start getting some as well.
I know this season has not gone the way we all expected, but i appreciate the effort the Boy's are showing, makes me even more proud of them!!!

I want to keep using it but doing it this next game would get us slaughtered. Rodgers would destroy those blitzes.

Listen... I was thinking about this.

It's dangerous. But just do it.

It will keep defense off the field.
