I though when Vick signed that, if anything, it would cost the Eagles a game or two this season.

I hope he plays Sunday. Vick has lost a step and that step is everything to what made him a scintillating talent. You combine that with the rust he's accumulated as a quarterback and I think Philly screwed up with the whole signing(uncharacteristically).

So here's the deal. Either Vick will play some--and suck, which will will help the Cowboys--------or Vick might play well in his designated plays and Donanvan "Greg-Ellis-Fragile-Ego" McNabb will let it erode his psyche, which might even be better.

I don't wish for player injuries. If we hurt him, I won't feel bad.

When he signed I said it would take him awhile to get back in football shape and get acclimated to being with a new team.

I looked at the schedule to see when we played them, and sure enough it was right in the middle of the year.

I wouldnt be surprised at all to see alot of Vick. The guy can still make plays with his legs, and still keeps you honest with his arm.

I disagree. I think Vick looks stiff out there running around.

I compare it to PacMan. That guy was away from football and didn't take care of himself. He went from an elite returner too just-another-guy.

Vick is now just another guy in the same fashion.

vick isnt washed up the guy can still play. he wont and just hasnt gotten much of an opportunity though in philly to get back in form

the reason why vick has been ineffective for the most part is because like most teams outside of mia the eagles use the wildcat as a gimmick and not as a legit part of their offense.

which is no suprise why mia has so much sucess with it and other teams often dont fair so well more often then not when they use it.

for mia its not just a change of pace its a legit part of their offense.

in the majority of the wildcat sets the eagles have been deploying vick in as of late hes not even a passing threat he almost always run when their looking to pick up a few yardage for the first. teams arent dumb and immediately figure this out. it would make more sense for them to let vick start throwing out of that formation more to keep teams honest

I really think Vick is going to figure into their gameplan this week. What do you guys think? I have a sneaky suspicion that Reid is going to unleash Vick on us. What say you?

I sure *hope* they "unleash" Vick.

I'd rather face that then a quarterback who can throw the ball to two serious vertical threats, an impressive tight end and Mr. Westbrook.

Miami has no choice but to make the Wildcat an integral part of their attack. They have no quarterback and are thin at receiver.

I'm not against the wildcat but elite offenses are not helping themselves running that. An elite quarterback with the ball in his hands--that's the most productive--and dangerous--offense in today's game.

Reid was saying that it was just a couple of weeks ago that he got back down to his playing weight. It had taken him all this time to lose the weight he'd gained in prison.

He's a talent, no doubt about it. I just hate that the Eagles signing him has been greeted with such a yawn from the media. If anything, it's like they're cheering for him. And that makes me sick.

No you dont want to see Vick. If you do, that means the Eagles are blowing the Cowboys out

I too would love to see lots of Vick. Who wouldn't like the Eagles in 2nd and 3rd down with 12 to go after he is drilled behind the LOS.
